We have been working with Kimberly since 2015. She has assisted us on several remodeling projects which have included knocking down walls, moving a staircase, redesigning our kitchen, four bedrooms, five bathrooms, and our basement. She has helped us transform a house into our forever home. Kimberly’s attention to detail and work ethic is of the highest standard. She takes every project serious and gives it her full attention. Through her process, she learned who we are and what styles we like. She then helped us create spaces that balanced our needs and desires with styles that maintain resell value in case we ever find ourselves in a position of needing to move. Kimberly was respectful of each of our budgets. With her knowledge, expertise, and strong connections she was able to help us make great purchases that added a wow factor while staying in our budget. She educated us in where to spend money and where to save. I love that Kimberly isn’t afraid to be honest, question our choices, and point out alternative options. She is a firecracker with a heart of gold. Consider yourself lucky if you have the opportunity to work with her.

Kimberly's professionalism and years of expertise were prevalent during our kitchen/dining/wet bar/living room remodel (approximately 1,000 sq ft). We engaged Kimberly after our remodel demo had been performed and my husband and I were being bombarded with questions from our General Contractor (What are the exact dimensions of the cabinets? Where do you want the can lights in the ceiling? What pattern do you want for the stone on the fireplace?). Kimberly helped to quickly bring order to the chaos by learning the tastes and preferences of both my husband and myself, would provided style-specific options for us to select how to move forward, and answer any questions we would have to best identify a solution to implement. The area that impressed me most from Kimberly was her ability to take ideas from both my husband and I, immediately articulate what would and would not work, and provided tasteful and elegant solutions for our space. For example, we wanted a coffee nook that would bring all things coffee into one space in our wet bar (Nespresso, French Press, coffee grinder, coffee beans, coffee cups, etc), however also wanted to be able to close this space off so the mess could quickly be out of sight. Without pause, Kimberly was able to tell us the exact configuration of the space, how the doors would operate to open and close off the space, how power could be incorporated into the space, and how the wood grain would flow seamlessly in the space. We had originally engaged Kimberly to assist with the hard-surface construction components of our project, but we quickly realized Kimberly could also help us find lovely furniture solutions for the renovated space. We most appreciated Kimberly during the furniture process when she completely managed the procurement, unexpected delays due to back-order, and the ultimate delivery of the furniture. Kimberly continually interacted with the sales associate from the time the order was placed until the furniture was in our house (which she came to our house to let the delivery team into the house and make sure the furniture was positioned and staged appropriately). After we made the decision on the furniture pieces, we didn't have to do a thing, and magically one day the pieces arrived in our house. We had a very positive experience with Kimberly and will continue to work with her as we complete other renovations in our home. Since she completed our project, we have referred her to many friends, two of which have already started to use her on their own projects.

We worked with Kimberly on updates to an existing home and we brought her back two years later when we signed with a builder on new construction. In the first (existing) home, we tested the water with Kimberly on basics like wall colors and countertops and liked her recommendations. We expanded beyond the initial scope and also had her help us with furniture selection and general décor. This was all instrumental in the sale of our home and we received numerous compliments during the showing process. Two years later we brought her back assist us on a new home build. The build process is overwhelming and Kimberly brought order to the selection process so that we had a cohesive plan throughout. She sat with us during several of the contractor meetings to help us sort through our design options and color schemes. She reviewed the proposed cabinetry plans, layout, measurements, and colors, and provided alternatives when she saw something amiss or that she felt may not work. While we were paying for her time during this process, her work saved us time and money in the long run and avoided costly mistakes both on our part and also with the cabinetmaker. She knows the business, who to work with, and it was apparent she has their respect. She listens well and developed an understanding of our tastes and interests for the new build. She is candid and responsive. She doesn’t miss deadlines and truly enjoys her work. We love what she helped us create in our new home and could not have done this without her!

Herrick Design was recommend to me thru my contractor. Kimberly was a fantastic addition to the team. She was easy to work with we were always able to get in touch with her. She works with you to figure out what your style is and make your project just what you imagined.. She is very detail oriented and worked with the contractor to make everything right. She is worth every penny and I would highly recommend her to anyone.. I plan on using her again for another project.

Kimberly Herrick of Herrick Design Group is a top notch designer who can discern what type of style direction is needed on an individual basis. We particularly appreciated the attention to detail in our bathroom remodeling. She designed a custom cabinet that fit the space and helped us choose gorgeous wall tiles unlike anything we had previously seen. Classic and tailored styling is what we achieved and more. Spa-like serenity and peacefulness is evident throughout the master suite. Our second project included guest room and media room. We were so happy that she helped us keep some family heirlooms that worked in with our modern, up-to-date new furniture additions fabulously. The average home owner does not have access to the wonderful fabrics and furniture sources that create a custom look. Comfort and style abounds when you work with Kimberly. What more could you want?

We hired Herrick Design Group after interviewing two other Design firms. We hired Kimberly because we felt she listened to us and provided options for the project we had not even considered. We also felt very comfortable with Kimberly, and that was important due to the fact we put the project in her capable hands while we moved out for the construction duration. We have worked with Herrick Design Group on numerous projects over many years, including many ASID Showcase Houses. When she comes to our showroom, we know we're in for a treat. She's professional and personable. She understands tile and stone, and knows her clients and projects well, so she is very efficient! She helps her clients understand the nature of tile and stone, and has exceptional skills in organization and communication. The outcomes of her projects are always tasteful and distinctive.

We have worked with Kimberly on two bathroom remodeling projects in two different houses, and she also helped us completely furnish a new condo. Before meeting Kimberly, we had never used a designer. Now, I cannot imagine making any important design decision without her! She has a great design aesthetic but also significantly improved the function of our bathrooms. Kimberly worked with me to design a kitchen in our 1940 home. She gave me wonderful ideas and options while at the same time respecting my thoughts and lifestyle.
