If I could leave zero stars I would. This company is incompetent and lacking integrity to honor work done. I had them install reclaimed hardwood flooring in two bedrooms to match existing flooring in hallway. They measured wrong and installed the wrong width! I gave them the option to replace the flooring with the right width at their cost or write off the balance of the invoice. They chose the latter and then tried to renege on their agreement. They have also refused to repair one of the flawed floor boards in over seven months of waiting. The owner is the one responsible and I would never want anyone to experience this. The staff taking measurements are nice but clearly don't know how to do their job, the subs are clearly unskilled by installing flawed boards and the owner has zero integrity by not honoring the work done and fixing the flaw issue. I have been fair and patient. Do not support this business.

Kevin Minton and his crew are top notch professionals to say the least. We have now used his company twice in two different homes and we are absolutely satisfied with the service. He and his team installed 5 inch heart pine floors in one home and completely restored the original heart pine floors in our home built in 1909. The upstairs floor had several areas that had missing flooring, the flooring was laced in and sanded, looks like it had all been there for 100 years. Downstairs the floors were sanded and sealed to show the natural beauty of the pine. Kevin uses dustless sanders so you don't need to cover everything in the house, this was a big deal to us! I would highly recommend this company to anyone seeking quality customer service with outstanding results.

Specialty Flooring is a first class company! Kevin Minton, the owner, took the time to listen to what type of lifestyle we have and made flooring recommendations accordingly. The selection is extensive. No high pressure sales techniques. We decided on wide plank, low luster, European board floors. Specialty Flooring team of installers are professional, personable, neat and very efficient. My old engineered floor was ripped out in one day and installation followed the next two days. The installers moved all furniture and cleaned up nicely. The new floors are beautiful. Kevin's recommendation fits our lifestyle perfectly. Minor issues were resolved very quickly and without a hassle. Owner is easy to reach and is very responsive. Overall, I would highly recommend Kevin and his team for all flooring needs. We love our new floor and I have received many compliments from visitors.

Kevin and his team did a fantastic job on our new floors. We constantly receive comments on the 6' Walnut engineered floor he helped us pick out. Many people have said it is the prettiest floor in Sun City. About 4 months after installation we noticed one small board seemed a little loose. We called and Kevin had one of his installers stop by. It took about 15 minutes and the problem was totally solved. Kevin worked with us to stay within our budget yet have a memorable floor. We would recommend Kevin to anyone. Our job was about $20,000.

The showroom was loaded with easy-to-find samples, the salesperson was knowledgeable, the price price was right, and we felt comfortable with Kevin who helped us make our selection. We bought both the wood flooring and installation from Specialty Flooring.

Specialty Flooring did a GREAT job for us when they replaced bedroom carpeting with engineered Oak flooring to match the rest of the home. We were concerned that it would not match as the original was ten years old. Kevin made the recommendation as to what was needed to make it right. The installers were hard workers, polite, and did a tremendous job installing and the clean up was perfect. We highly recommend SPECIALTY FLOORING.

We decided to replace the floor throughout our first floor, 1150 sq-ft. We decided in Carmel Oak, wide planks by Mohawk. Kevin at Specialty Flooring was a pleasure to work with. His quote was considerably less than others for the exact same flooring, and his labor estimate was not padded with extras. He was willing to work with me regarding work that I could do, which further reduced the cost. He guided us through the myriad of options, and I found him to be the most forthcoming and truthful of all the flooring vendors. We are thrilled with the results; and all our friends have commented on how nice it is. We gutted and remodeled the kitchen at the same time, but that's another story.

Specialty Flooring installed a hickory hardwood floor on the main floor in my Low Country home. The floor is absolutely beautiful! I must say that I was concerned that I might not like the floor...I selected the product on line and depended on Kevin's professional experience with the product. The job was finished in a timely manner in spite of a few curve balls and difficulty in removing the old floor. I would highly recommend this company.

So happy I chose Kevin Minton and his crew to sand/refinish my wood floors. They were always on time, professional and helpful. The dustless system was amazing and cleanup was minimal. My floors look like they were just laid, not 17 years old!

Kevin and his crew at Specialty Flooring are exceptional. I was getting my home ready to sell and I needed my heart pine floors refinished. I hired a contractor and he did a terrible job of sanding and basically ruined them. I thought I was going to have to replace the floor. My wife and I had meet with Kevin a few months back and were impressed. Long story short.....Kevin and his crew came in and worked a miracle. Now my floors look new again.....they're beautiful.

We stopped in at Specialty Flooring by chance since we were picking out new flooring but weren't happy with our builder's recommendation. Kevin (principal owner) was on the road but came right back to discuss our needs. We told him what we wanted in wood flooring and he gave us samples to look at in the light and was very accommodating and easy to work with. After we selected our floor there was an issue with part of the stock. He reordered and had his entire crew come out to finish the job in one day. We have since recommended him to others that are looking for wood flooring.
