Terry Cisco, of Dinmore & Ciso Architects, encouraged his clients to hire us to design and provide the interior furnishings for their home. The home was under construction when we were brought on to the project. With his architectural guidance and the fabulous clients we created a dream design team. for this residence. He created an open and airy residence that takes advantage of the natural trade winds. Pocket doors create a real indoor - outdoor feeling making the home feel more like an open pavilion when all the doors are open. Terry is one of those unusual architects that truly understands color. I think this is due to his avocation of water color painting. This isn't the first project we've worked on together and I would recommend Terry for his expert background in Architecture and his easy going nature.

I hired Dinmore & Cisco in Kailua-Kona after interviewing a few firms -- it was the right fit from the moment we met. The culture of the firm is laid-back but highly professional, exceptionally accessible and open-minded. There were many changes during the planning stages; due to their approach everything came together brilliantly. They have an incomparable aesthetic, and worked tirelessly to incorporate my own aesthetic and desires within the budget, in a timely manner. Throughout this two-year collaboration, I developed a close friendship with the entire firm, while still maintaining a professional approach to the task. Dinmore & Cisco designed an exquisitely beautiful, luxurious, and functional home, devoid of ostentation, with an incredible infrastructure that withstood both the 2006 earthquake and the tsunami in 2011 without a scratch. Terry Cisco was fully engaged and provided plenty of options throughout the project. His thoughtful attention to the details and creative ideas at the larger scale came together exceptionally well. He works quite well to ensure builder executes the design according to the interests of the client. When the project was completed, the house exceeded our expectations.
