If I could give Linda ten stars, I would! I hired her first for a color consultation at our new house. We went through each room and she shared her expertise, ideas and suggestions. She was able to help my husband and me find common ground between our very different styles and we ended up with an absolutely gorgeous palette that brings me joy in every room. Her eye is unmatched. I wouldn't have selected half of the colors we chose on my own, but they are perfect and everything flows beautifully together. I hired her back for a two hour design consultation focused on my home office. The floor plan she came up with was genius! And her recommendations for sourcing furniture and decor were spot on. What a difference a gorgeous, functional office makes for my productivity. Can't wait to have her back to finish up the living room. Time spent with Linda is priceless. The exterior of my house was being painted and I needed help choosing colors. I sent Linda some photos of my 120 year old home and we had a couple of brief telephone conversations. She was prompt and efficient with our communications. Linda took into account my likes and dislikes, the structure, design, and character of my home, as well as the neighboring homes. She sent me two palettes from which to choose. I anxiously selected the neutral palette. Upon completion of the project, I feel like I am in a new home. The color palette was spot on. I was delighted with Linda’s guidance and expertise on this project, as well as her assurance when my nerves kicked in. I would be happy to work with Linda on future interior home projects and highly recommend her.

As a busy working (full time) mom of two teenagers, I have no time for decorating. We moved in four years ago and it looked liked we moved in yesterday. It did not feel like a home. I never had people over because I was self conscious of my house. Linda was referred to me and we hit it off immediately. She worked with me for months to understand our needs as a family and she transformed my house into a home. We started with the living and dining room, but I can't stop! She's a miracle worker and we're working on one space at time. I just came home from a business trip and walked into a wonderful new living room! I am so excited and I LOVE it! Having recently re-located, I found Linda Holt through HOUZZ and she has been wonderful to work with. Linda took time to understand me and what I was looking for and through great collaboration she brought that to life. Linda was so easy to work with (keeping things moving while I had to travel) and very respectful and even creative at times with the budget. I would not hesitate to recommend Linda and cannot wait to work with her again.

Recently we moved into a small cape with good bones but badly in need of redecoration. Linda provided a two-hour color and furniture placement consultation. Outstanding! Amazing! Linda clearly had extensive knowledge of color and quickly assessed possibilities for us. She described various colors and gave us a sense of how they would look on the walls given the light and room configuration. She was also the consummate teacher as she described issues with the current colors (e.g., "that color is very peachy and clashes with the yellow tones in the counter top." I learned so much in two hours. Linda not only focussed on color but so ably incorporated our existing furniture into comprehensive room plans as she thought about colors and fabrics. She sensitively handled furniture placement ideas. My antique chest was too large for the living room space but she said we'd find another home for it. Linda moreover had clearly reviewed the materials I'd sent her ahead of her visit and brought on target suggestions for light fixtures and furniture. Linda's vast knowledge of color and design helped us enormously. Not only is she an extremely knowledgeable professional but the best consultant that I've used in various house design projects over the years. She's a lovely person and much fun as well. The two hours flew by. I will hire her for our project's next steps.

After our consultations, I felt energized and confident with the direction and the plan she customized for me. I worked with Linda to update both our dining room and family room. Right from the start Linda listened to my vision of a calm, peaceful space to come home to at the end of the day from a crazy job. I loved her approach of approach of reading a list of words and seeking my reaction to them. This short exercise helped her to assess my style in a way that I couldn't articulate. I truly appreciated how she approached our project, stuck to the budget and communicated. I got so excited when she showed me her ideas, fabric samples and paint samples. I felt like she really got what I was looking for. Linda is so attuned to what her clients are looking for that she even spent countless hours tracking down a rug I had seen and wanted for my dining room. The end result is AMAZING. My dining room is now so sophisticated and beautiful. When I walk into my family room, I can't believe it's my house. It's so beautiful, so tranquil and serene while being family (and dog!) friendly that I want to spend every waking moment there. Linda has a keen eye for color and design. I hired her to help me choose paint colors for our new condo; she immediately was able to come up with the perfect color to be used throughout our open first floor plan. I loved that Linda walked in with literally hundreds of larger painted boards that are so much easier to visualize than paint chips from the hardware store. She also immediately understood the look and feel that I was going for with paint colors. In addition to her excellent color guidance, Linda is a pleasure to work with. Two hours with her flew by! She has also been extremely patient answering follow up questions by email. If you have been struggling to choose paint colors, Linda will provide you with the expertise and confidence that you need to move forward.

My wife and I have been absolutely delighted with the beautiful interiors Linda created for us – each morning when I walk through ‘Linda’s’ rooms for the first time that day I feel a bit uplifted – the rooms are bright, light, clean, and have just the right touch of color. I hired Linda for a two hour consultation to help pick wall colors for our newly remodeled kitchen and while most of the materials were picked out, Linda made several key suggestions on some of the material choices. Her professional suggestons caused me to rethink both the perimeter backsplash and the bar backsplash color to a slightly different color. I am very thankful to her suggestions as she prevented a possible big mistake. The kitchen remodel is underway and while I am still working on choosing the backsplashes, her consulting services have helped me a great deal.
