Liz was fantastic at designing the kitchen we wanted. The design was very functional and well thought out. She included everything we wanted and made it look very glamorous. Very easy to deal with and very competitive. We would highly recommend using her again.

Liz designed an amazing kitchen for us which is the centre piece of our home. From beginning to the end, it was a delight to work with Liz. She listened to our brief and gave functional as well as aesthetic advice on all aspects of the design. I hired Liz to design a kitchen for me after speaking to a few kitchen companies and not being overly impressed by what they had to offer. From our first meeting, Liz was able to percieve exactly what I was after and steer me in the right direction in areas I was unsure about. I was impressed and reassured by the personal nature in which she handled my kitchen renovation - as if it were her own - but equally impressed by her professional manner in dealing with me and the tradespeople involved. We hired Liz to help us design a main and ensuite bathroom. Both rooms are quite small and we needed to be able to maximise and utilise the space as best we could. Liz provided a lot of guidance and gave us lots of ideas to think about. She was very patient with our busy lives but was very good at refocusing us on the job at hand! Liz's designs were very simple but clever and she took the time and effort away from us having to shop around for fittings and accessories which was exactly what we were after. Liz designed my kitchen, laundry, guest bathroom and ensuite for a recent renovation. She was thorough in her research prior to the design phase and consulted me throughout the design in order to deliver rooms that would meet my needs. Liz made useful suggestions and gave many ideas and alternatives to ensure my options were wide and varied. Liz always listened, was confident in her approach, knowledgeable about available products and a delight to work with. The end result was a superior quality, stylish and sophisticated finished product.

The most exiting room in our unit is our kitchen and it's all thanks to Liz for her creative design fitting everything into a very small space. Liz was amazing from the word go. She really listened to my needs and my wants and came back with something that was beautiful and functional. The space is small so it was important to use every corner of the room, and Liz was amazing at fitting it all in. I was the 'project manager" on the job, dealing with many trades persons, and when it got a little out of hand Liz stepped in to help me and went above and beyond smoothing things over and getting the job done. I was talking to a friend about her new kitchen and how smart it looked, the conversation developed, as I was about to renovate and a new kitchen was one of the things I was planning on doing. My friend told me about the details of her new kitchen that were not so apparent at first. Small details that had made her not just pleased about how nice the kitchen appeared, but delighted about how functionally perfect it was. Things like assessing the size of the people who would be using the kitchen and aligning the bench tops to suit both. Location of power points and sinks in relation to how one cooks and what type of appliances one uses. The type of wood to be used and the seals on the wood to prevent moisture entering the cabinetry and turning the wood to "weet bix" This was how I found out about Liz Grimmett I have renovated many properties and worked with other kitchen designers from Freedom Kitchens to Sydney Kitchens, to mention a few. I have never had a designer work so closely and understand my desires and designed something that was better, than I thought possible, in the space available. I was specific about my design too, I wanted an integrated fridge and dishwasher, I did not want any handles on my kitchen cabinetry. Not only was Liz accommodating to these ideas, she knew the companies that manufactured the products, assisted me with model numbers that would fit in the spaces I had and she also suggested some online places where I could save on the purchase of these items. Liz took into account that I am a single Father, and helped design a place where I could prepare breakfast and dinner for the kids on a daily basis, whilst they did their homework. Everything just makes such good sense with the design of my kitchen. When friends visit, they often comment on my wine rack, which is lit from behind with low LED lighting making the appearance of light coming through the bottles and give it a very nice ambiance at night. This was Liz's idea and gives my kitchen such a wow factor. It was a brilliant idea that turned a dead space into a feature. Recently a friend was visiting and was impressed with my kitchen, I passed Liz's details on and he has had Liz design his kitchen. This was a Manly sea side apartment with a large budget, and the finished project is amazing, stylish and practical. Well thought out design with smart appearance is essential to any new kitchen and Liz certainly exceeded my expectations. I have and will recommend Liz to anyone thinking of redoing their kitchen.
