Liz Hart Designs

We recently underwent a major remodel of our home. We chose a talented designer, Liz Hart of Liz Hart Designs. She came highly recommended by a good friend. I knew I wanted Liz to be the Designer for my home remodel. Liz took my 1980's house and converted the 1st floor into a beautiful, more functional, updated haven with the help of the Contractor, Project Manager and his team. She worked closely with the Project Manager to make sure every little detail got done. From completely remodeling the kitchen, creating a butler's pantry, swapping the dining and living rooms, changing doorways, painting everything to name a few, I literally have a new downstairs I love. The stairwell and upstairs hallway and bathroom also got a face lift per her suggestion. Liz encouraged me to think out of the box with many of her design choices. I loved them all. She helped me choose the kitchen appliances. She chose all the finishes, then shopped for everything after my approval. She was a pleasure to work with. She truly made the remodel an easy process. Liz paid close attention to the details I wanted to keep and helped me make smart decisions with the things I needed to change. She also gave great suggestions to better utilize the spaces in my house. She always respected the budget. She had endless resources. She had my dining room chairs redone, designed and ordered new window treatments, and she helped me with picture placement. I highly recommend Liz Hart. My house is beautiful!

We were looking to update our dark and dreary Den area. After researching interior decorators in our area I contacted and met with Liz Hart. I had no idea what I wanted I just wanted something updated and comfortable. Liz asked questions, listened, read my mind and presented us with a complete plan including samples of furniture, colors, fabrics and contractor recommendations. Since the changes included painting all the dark woodwork white which was definitely out of my comfort zone I needed some assurance but Liz provided pictures and helped me visualize the final look. I am so glad we went with her plan because we now have a beautiful, bright, comfortable Den. Since this initial project Liz has overseen the updating of our dining room, sunroom, guest bedrooms and even a complete remodel of our downstairs bathroom and laundry room while we were wintering in Florida . I could go on and on singing her praises but the fact we want her now to help us redo our master bedroom and bathroom says it all. We absolutely love our home with it’s updated look and improved functionality. We could not have done it without Liz. We highly recommended Liz Hart Designs.

When my husband and I decided to renovate our home, including gutting kitchen, baths and removing a wall, we had a lot of ideas but no plan. After telephone interviews with several designers, we decided to work with Liz Hart Designs. Liz took all of our bits and pieces of ideas and formed a cohesive plan. Liz worked with use to determine our actual style. She recommended several contractors and worked as a liaison between us and the contractor throughout the project. She made a seemingly overwhelming task enjoyable. Liz has worked with us to pick paint, tile, granite, fabrics and window covering; arrange furniture; and choose lighting fixtures. She has always been professional, knowledgeable, and responsive to texts and e-mails. Liz was especially helpful in designing our kitchen. She took the cabinet makers initial design and tweaked cabinet and drawer placement for maximum functionality. The light fixture she chose is perfect for the space and not something I would have chosen on my own. It has truly been a pleasure to work with Liz and I highly recommend her services

Liz Hart was referred to me by a friend and I hired her to help me with the renovation of our four bathrooms and laundry room. She was invaluable in working with my builder on the design of each of the rooms and assisting with choosing flooring, hardware, lighting, paint color, carpet etc. She coordinated with my builder on keeping the project running smoothly and within budget. Liz is experienced and quite talented and I thoroughly enjoyed working with her. She made my life so much easier while living through months of construction. I will continue to use Liz's services in the future.

Liz talked and listened to me to understand what exactly I was looking for in my kitchen renovation. She was knowledgeable about the best products and recommended an excellent contractor for the project. She was attentive to the details and was available when I had questions and or concerns. I would certainly recommend her and I am planning to use her in the future on other work.

Liz has an eye for beauty, simplicity, and practicality- not always an easy combination to achieve in furnishing and decorating a home. Her ability to pick the perfect color from those tiny paint samples always amazes me. Each time she has recommended a paint color or fabric, her choices have been perfect. She not only does a wonderful job with color and style- she is thoughtful about the future maintenance issues of the selections she recommends. She can also often help you find someone reliable to get the the job done. Then when your room is almost finished, she'll suggest just the right accent to finish it off! Liz' has helped with several projects in our home over the last 5 years- a bathroom, a living room-dining room combination, a playroom, and a deck. She is delightful and easy to work with because she doesn't push her own ideas on you- she helps you through the process of making your own choices. Liz has the ability to give you the space or time you need to make decisions. She is always relaxed and easy to work with, yet when you need help quickly with an unexpected decision, she finds time to come by to help. I have worked with several designers over the 41 years we have been in our home, and Liz is the best.

Liz has helped me with several room make over projects. She is as reliable , knowledgeable, and professional as anyone you could ask for. She listens to what you have in mind and guides you through the process.. I highly recommend Liz!
