We are a small, fully licensed architectural firm serving clients in Northern California since 1987. Designed master bathroom/bedroom. He captured our ideas and designed a vacation home within our primary residence. Mark was very creative and helped us see beyond our limited vision.

Mark had lots of great design ideas while at the same time respecting the existing features of our older home. He listened carefully and incorporated our ideas and needs. I enjoyed working with him. The results were, and are, fantastic. There were no issues with deadlines or budget.

we did a major remodel that doubled our house living space. Mark was fantastic both in the planning and execution stage when we were working with our contractor. Mark also helped us design our garden and our outdoor structure after the house was finished. He is very professional and a delight to work with. His advice, suggestions, problem solving were instrumental in making this a successful renovation. We love our new living space and it works beautifully whether the house is full of family and guests, or just my husband and I are home.

Very knowledgable and open to working together to achieve the requested results. Mark has a great sense of aesthetics and was very committed to keeping with the original Craftsman design of my 1920 built home. Updated beautifully while keeping the original style very much alive. Thanks Mark!

Mark was recommended to us by a local contractor, and he turned out to be great throughout the entire process. He did conceptual drawings and then the full set of plans for a major remodel on our Spanish revival home in 2009. We had alot of our own ideas and he respected them, all the while adding his own input and rolling it all together into a stunning final result. Most of the work centered around a kitchen remodel and adding a covered back porch and entry from the driveway. There was also a bath room laundry room, office area and dining room with a fireplace. He was very pleasant to work with (easy going, nice guy, etc) which helps enormously when you're trying to get the mental images of what you want on to paper. One thing still stands out is that his plans were so thorough and full of so many details. Very impressive work, and our project wasn't easy.

Being of the 'older' generation of architects, who learned to design and draw by hand instead of solely using Autocad, still has great advantages, particularly when working on remodels of older houses which is my passion! Our many meetings greatly led to the finessing of the final design, and I am thrilled that you are delighted with your unique kitchen; indeed, it has been added to more "Ideabooks" than any other project!!! Commented: Love the colorsWe always specially mix everything on site starting with raw colors. The owner was quite particular about what she wanted and she was very pleased with the outcome. Thanks for your interest.

Commented: CuriousColor is always custom coordinated with the other materials used in the project. We used sikkens stain color palette and matched it to the adjacent stucco paint color.

Commented: What is the make & model of the stove? Love it!!It is made by La Cornue USA. They have many models to choose from.

Commented: Is the kitchen window fixed or ....The window is a marvin fixed archtop window. The client wanted view without obstruction, although I also think that a tilt would be a wonderful idea.

Commented: What type of large leafed plants are those?They are Banana Leaf plants. The courtyard also contains a mixture of hostas, Birds of Paradise, ferns and palms.
