About Us

Meyer Weitzman Architecture is a full service architecture firm based in the Tampa Bay area in Florida specializing in middle to high end residential and small to medium sized commercial projects. We are comfortable and confident in any style...from classical to modern. The principal, Meyer Weitzman, AIA is an architect licensed in the State of Florida (AR92710) and an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Meyer is a graduate of the University of South Florida School of Architecture and Community Design where he received Master of Architecture degree in 1997. The studio prides itself on providing sensitive and unique designs to clients with a wide range of budgets.

Meyer brought knowledge, creativity and kindness to our project. It was a major remodel of a 4100 sq ft. house that included both cosmetic and structural aspects. We were amazed when Meyer would pause with a pencil and sketch pad and solve what were puzzles of space and style for us. Part of our project was an infill, creating a loft above and coffered ceiling below. Meyer consulted with a structural engineer to place necessary pilings under the house to support the new work. He also did a wonderful job helping us with spacial challenges for our pool and deck. I would highly recommend Meyer. You will find him to be supremely creative and kind.

Meyer is a talented Architect who has designed many residences with great success. He is practical and sensitive to his client's budgets without sacrificing creativity. A perfect balance. As an Interior Designer I can appreciate his thoughtfulness to all aspects of his projects and his attention to detail. A respected architect within his peers and clients.

Meyer is extremely talented. We worked with him recently and would highly recommend him. We had a unique shaped lot on the smaller side, and he amazed us with his final product. He took a lot of time to meet with us and make sure we were happy with all of the details. He is a true professional with excellent customer service!!

I have been using Meyer Weitzman for several years now for designing the my client's custom homes that we in turn build. He has been on no less than 15 projects with my firm and we continue to use his services on all design build projects that come through our company. He is extremely talented and his diversity helps me with clients that like traditional to modern designs.

Having never built a home before, I had no idea what to expect. I quickly learned that an architect is the person who takes all of those ambiguous ideas that float around in your head and turns them into an executable plan. I have no idea how Meyer was able to do it but the vision we had but didn't know how to articulate, became reality. He delivered the plans and I had a moment of shock when I thought, "yes!!! That is exactly what I was thinking". I guess my point is, I was no just happy with Meyers but rather THRILLED! He turned our dream house idea into a real tangible picture and plan!
