As I sit outside in my garden on this glorious spring day, I could not be more delighted to highly recommend Nawada Landscape Design to you. I first worked with Jennifer more than ten years ago; last summer when we decided to do some additional projects I knew exactly who I wanted to work with. In August-September of 2019, Jenn designed and implemented a comprehensive refurbishing of multiple garden spaces, hardscapes, and an innovative new side garden incorporating boulders and beautiful shade plants. Jennifer has expert knowledge of plants in this region, is personable, highly professional, creative, and works with excellent crews. I truly enjoyed the collaboration with her; I felt very much part of the process. Jenn is organized and strategic in the implementation phase of projects; she choreographs all the moving parts with expertise and efficiency. Clients and crews alike love working with her. Our new outdoor spaces are bringing our family and our neighbors a lot of joy, particularly during this time of spending a lot of time at home. Nawada Landscape Design receives our family's highest recommendation.

I loved working with Jennifer! She was professional and friendly and made sure we had what we wanted. The yard, deck, driveway and stonework came out beautifully!

We worked with Jen to design and implement a project for a large urban yard, including retaining walls, built in Lynx grill, bluestone patio, play structure, fencing and large garden beds. Everything turned out beautifully, and Jen was a joy to work with. She takes feedback easily and is very collaborative, and manages her sub-contractors very well. We are very happy with how it turned out!

Jennifer designed then oversaw the demo and replanting of the landscape in front and side of my home. This included new beds with shrubs and planting’s as well as sod and an irrigation system. Jenn was very intune with what I had asked for. She oversaw the demo and installation and was very responsive to my questions or concerns. I’m very happy with the results and plan to use her services again for the backyard project. I highly recommend her services.

Jenn chooses well and melds plants to make my gardens vibrant and fulo of life and color. Jenn is in charge of creating my gardens each year.

We had overgrown plantings up against our condo buildings that were 30 years old and way out of control. Jennifer Nawanda and her company presented us with great plans to upgrade our entire complex. We did the job over a two year period and it transformed our complex. It has been 3 years now and it all just looks better every year! Great price, great job and great company to deal with.

Jen Nawada is the BEST. Not only is she creative and detail-oriented but she looks at the space holistically, taking into account the history of the house, where it's located, what's around it, how it will be used once it's done...and even the personalities of the family who live there. She created a Frederick Olmsted-inspired backyard sanctuary to match my 1860 Greek Revival home...who even thinks of landscaping at that level?! She's amazing and an absolute joy to work with. I can't recommend her highly enough.

I have already recommended Nawada Landscape Design to a friend, and I anticipate doing this many times over as everyone who sees our new front walkway compliments us on its aesthetics. In addition to giving us a beautiful design that help bring cohesion to our existing landscape, Jenn also gave the front of the house more presence and fixed a drainage issue that we didn't know could be corrected. She is a true professional as are the companies that she contracts to do the installation. I would jump at the chance to work with her again.

We could not have asked for a better experience than working with Jennifer and her team on landscaping our yard. Jennifer was able to carry out our vision of our new yard, and also had a lot of great recommendations/ideas that we absolutely love. She was able to bring in new trees/plants to our yard, and make use of existing trees/plants by moving them to more appropriate areas. The work that was done was even better than we originally envisioned, and we could not have been happier with the work that was done. We cannot wait to enjoy the new yard this summer!

Jennifer was fantastic to work with. she made the entire process of completely redesigning our backyard as painless as possible. Our backyard was a disaster and we had it completely overhauled. We had a new patio installed, sod laid down, our deck repainted, and part of our driveway torn up and part of our fence moved so that we could expand our back yard. She is great at communicating and letting you know when her crew will be there. We really don't know a lot about gardening, etc. and she was great at answering questions (even silly questions). I would work with her again in a heartbeat.

After we did a major renovation on our home Jenn took an absolute blank slate of a yard and created a beautiful, colorful and pleasing-to-the-eye landscape design. Everything from the stone work to the selection of individual plants worked perfectly for our space. She spent a lot of time listening to our ideas and clearly incorporated them in her design. Her landscape plan made it very easy for us to execute the design over the course of the following year. The plantings have now been in for about three years and they continue to look great as they mature. We frequently get complements on the yard from passersby as we work outside. I highly recommend Jenn for her landscape design work.

Jen created a wonderful design for our yard that fit in beautifully with the existing landscape. She and her crew were extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. One of the bushes struggled over the winter and as Jen promised, she replaced it the following spring free of charge. This is an example of her amazing service!
