My wife and I have just signed a building contract with Norm Wales Constructions. We first phoned Norm about 11 months ago and were impressed with his building philosophy. We visited many other display homes and spoke the sales agents, however I still felt that Norm Wales Constructions offered a much more personalised service. Over the past 11 months we have been working with Norm and his team, and we cannot fault their service. If not available at the time, Norm would always call us back quickly and be genuinely apologetic for not being able to answer immediately. Nothing was too hard and no question too simple. Norm and his team have been faultless so far. Being our second home build, we were looking for something different, rather than a standard home, so we took our plan to Norm and now have a wonderful design, that meets our needs and wants. After deciding to build for the first time and with a basic floorplan for our acreage block roughed out we approached several builders before selecting to build with Norm Wales Constructions. We chose Norm and his team over the others for several reasons, being from the final house plans which gave us bigger second and third bedroom sizes to our entry way, master bedroom layout and our outdoor areas. Norms standard inclusions also made our decision easier. Being involved in the construction industry myself I had already seen the quality and finishes of Norm and his teams work. When it came to the actual build of our house we were impressed with how smoothly the build progressed and how well Norm and his team kept to schedule. Delivering it on time with only a couple of very minor issues along the way which were handled quickly and professionally by Norm. Norm and his dedicated team made our first building experience enjoyable and hassle free and left us with a beautiful well finished home to enjoy. I have nothing but the highest of praise for Norm Wales Constructions and would highly recommend them to anyone considering building their new home.

My wife and I were new to the Bundaberg area. With us previously having built 5 houses we were aware of the stress involved in building a home. Selecting Norm Wales Constructions to build our new home by the ocean was one of the best decisions we have made. After visiting other builders in the Bundaberg area who were reasonably good, Norm stood out in the crowd. Norm’s professionalism, attention to detail and organisational skills were very impressive from start to finish making this the best build we have experienced, with no stress or sleepless nights. Norm was so easy to get along with. Nothing was a problem. He looked at our ideas and our budget for our new home and was more than willing to spend as much time with us as necessary to ensure those ideas were translated into a plan that we were happy with. As he says, as long as you are happy with your new home, that is what is important to me. Norm was always available to personally answer any questions that arose. He was always ready to listen to our ideas and give us genuine advice. He is a hands on builder, working on site to ensure everything is done correctly. Norm is backed up by a team of real professionals from Peter in the office through to every tradesperson working on the job, all of whom we found to be very polite, courteous and obliging. Norm’s good reputation is at stake so perfection is the key. Being in business ourselves for 35 years, it was a real pleasure to work with Norm thoughout the build. Everything was booked in with precision and ran like clockwork. We built a two storey home. Due to Norm’s efficiency, from excavating the land to moving in was only 4 months. We have heard people say that Norm is pedantic. What a great quality to have. No short cuts taken. Everything was done the way it should be. He includes qood quality fittings with generous allowances. On completion Norm personally does a walk through with you to ensure you are thoroughly happy and everything is completed to your satisfaction. We could not pick one thing. On top of that, he came in under budget. Norm will not compromise and his good name and the numerous awards he has won proves that. We first decided to build after purchasing a semi-rural block, however not knowing what we were looking for, we met with a few builders before choosing Norm Wales and his team. We came to that decision easily, as Norm was open to working with us to custom design our dream home. Being first homebuilders, the road that lay ahead felt quite overwhelming, however Norm held our hand throughout the process- simplifying our decision-making and leaving us at ease with each step. On the completion of our house, we were absolutely delighted to see our dream had come to fruition and we couldn’t be happier with the final product. The fixtures and fittings were absolutely stunning and of high quality, but oozed our style and sensibility. Norm wasn’t afraid to allow us to try new design concepts and ultimately they have become some of my favourite things in the house. Norm Wales and his team were with us every step of the way from conception through to completion, and we couldn’t fault the service and product as a result. We have a beautiful new house, our family now calls home.
