Orlando Driveway and Pavers

We contacted Orlando Driveway and Paver on 9/15/21 to set up an estimate for paver installation. Renata promptly responded and we set up an appointment for 9/21 at 12:45. We received a quote on 9/28 and a timeline for up to 8 weeks to receive the pavers, which should have put us around 11/23 at the latest. We also put a deposit of $1500.00 down. Renata was responsive to various questions up until 12/10 when I followed up for the second time about receiving the pavers. At this time, I was told that she would check with the supplier and I never heard back again. I texted 12/20, 12/21, 12/27 & 12/28. I sent emails 12/21, 12/27 & 12/28 and called and left voicemails on 12/22 and 12/27. I also sent a message via Facebook Messenger on 12/28 just in case no one was checking text, voicemail or email at this company. No response was received until 12/28 when Marcus responded via email asking for our phone number, which I provided, but he never called. We have requested our deposit to be refunded, but given that we have received no actual response to the complaint, we have started the process to dispute the charge. 9/15 Scheduled estimate 9/21 Estimate completed 9/28 Placed $1500.00 deposit for paver install 11/23 8 week mark for receipt of pavers 11/29 Followed up for status-Renata responded citing supply chain issues and said she would get back with a “ready date”. She did not. 12/10 Followed up again for “ready date”. Renata responded stating she would get back to me. No further responses. 12/20 Texted for status. No response. 12/21 Texted and emailed for status. No response. 12/22 Left voicemail for status. No response. 12/27 Texted, emailed and left voicemail for status. No response. 12/28 Sent message via Facebook Messenger and email. Requested refund by end of day. Marcus responded to the email only asking for the phone number and informing us that he is the owner. Provided our phone number, but still no response. Responded on 12/28 informing Marcus that we will be filing complaints and taking steps to get our money back. Still no response and no refund.

Do not use this company. They are rip off. I signed a contract with this company in July 22, 21 with this company to do my driveway and, the challenges started. I paid them on $2,454.81 which was half of the total price. Payment was confirmed on August 4, 2021. I was told that the paver will be ordered once that partial of payment was received and the expected time frame was 8- 10 weeks wait time for the paver to arrive and I will be informed closer to the date. I waited over a month and didn’t hear back on the update and I contacted the company on September 25th, after several back and forth between the owner, Marcus W and tha sale person, Renata, the sale person informed me that the expected date was November 19 and would contact me to inform me to the date the work will start closer to that date. On November 16, I didn't not hear from them and called. Again, I was given the run around. Renata could not tell any specific with my project and stating that she will talk with Marcus for them to figure out what was happening with my project. I waited to hear back, no one call not to provide me with an update. On November 18, after several calls, the sales person Ravata informed me that the company they ordered the paver did not have it and they were not sure when they will receive it. I was upset that I had to wait over 16 weeks for them and being told that they do not know when they will receive it. Meanwhile I am trying to contact the owner and he was not returning my calls. I asked them for a refund and the sales person told me that she will have to talk with the owner. I explained that I have been trying to call him. On November 19, no one call me and spoke to the sales person and asked for my money. Yet, she still couldn’t tell me that my money will be refunded. I explained how the owner has need ignoring my calls. Then the owner called me and, he explained the same thing the sales person explained about the paver and, I asked him for my money. After a long conversation, he told me that he would refund the money as of later that day November 19, 21 and, I would received a quick book receipt. As of today 12/22/21, I have not received my money and no one responding to my email, calls or texts. I went to the business address to meet them and get the money but, there is no physical office. All info about this business is false. Not responding to complaint neither.

DO NOT use this company. They charge top dollar and deliver lousy workmanship. The company does not live up to its agreements and promises, and Marcus, the owner, is disrespectful and deceitful. We received a quote $4,000 to install brick pavers on our approximately 8’ x 30’ front porch. The brick we chose was an upgrade with coping to be installed along the front edge only. We were told the coping had to be ordered so there would be a 3-4 week delay. However, we decided to use a standard red brick called Harvest Blend because it better matched the house. We did not renegotiate the price even Harvest Blend brick costs less. We waited and waited to hear when they would start. 6 weeks later we were given a date and they were a no show twice. 2 months later, they sent workers who didn’t have a plan to go by and left off the coping. What a disaster. The cost of the coping was $1,000 extra and we didn’t get it. There edges were not faced at all which was something that should have been done if the men were unaware of the plan to install coping. The perimeter looks unfinished. The men trampled on the landscape destroying it. Marcus ended up expecting payment in full with a promise that he would return to correct it. When we refused to pay him before the corrections were done he became belligerent and threatened to place a lien on our property. We ended up paying them $3,000 total which we regret to this day because the job quality is inferior. Orlando Driveway & Pavers did not return to correct the mess.

Found this company on Google and Marcus came out immediately and gave me a very fair price.I found his company to be very professional and honest .He said my driveway would be done by Friday and it was actually done on Thursday with a little cleanup on Friday.I would highly recommend him I called probably 10 other companies and they wanted me to measure my driveway they wanted me to take photos they wanted me to do their work for them. Very pleased!

Owner needs to get better with customer relation, on timing, on communication, on materials, on deposits and on pro service.

These Guys were Great. I had them lay a couple of Patios and extend my Driveway. They did exactly what I asked them to do. They were on time and did a very good job. I can Highly recommend Orlando Driveway and Pavers.
