As an Interior Designer I have had the pleasure of working with Poggenpohl on two projects. Rosemary Porto is a top notch professional and knows her stuff. As an Interior Designer in her previous career she brings that suburb design sense to all of her kitchen projects at Poggenpohl. Working with her has been a privilege. For anyone who wonders how Poggenpohl products hold up over time... I have a "vintage" installation. The modern design is still fresh, but the cabinetry hasn't held up well, and the service from the factory was terrible when I needed a part during construction. Also, not long after the kitchen was installed a handle broke in half. The company rudely let me know that they didn't stock it any longer, so I had to search, myself. The best I could do was to find one with a different color insert. I'm sure -- or I hope -- that product, service, and manufacturer have improved, but when I replace my kitchen cabinets, although the designs are beautiful, I won't be installing Poggenpohl.

I worked with Kevin Briggs at Poggenpohl Boston when renovating my kitchen. He came up with a great design that did not require additional electrical or plumbing work and used my existing appliances. He recommended an outstanding contractor and helped with the selection of the granite countertops. We love the new kitchen and had great fun working with Kevin.

Rosemary, Kevin, Tedd, and Yaoying at Poggenphol are some of the most talented designers in the industry. We have worked with this design center for the past ten years, and we couldn't be happier with their work. Kevin Briggs at Poggenpohl Boston was a pleasure to work with. I renovated a kitchen in a condo we purchased in Boston and was very happy with Kevin's work. He took the time to understand how we wanted to use the space, made useful and helpful recommendations as to how to maximize the footprint, and is a perfectionist. I contracted Poggenpohl to design and install cabinets and appliances in 2012. I have a very small kitchen space and I was having trouble finding a design that would improve the usable space. Most designs I had received did nothing more than freshen up the old design with new materials and appliances. I met with Rosemary Porto who spent most of our first meeting asking me questions about HOW I like to cook. Her final design proposal focused made amazing use of the limited space I had and also included solutions that allowed me to increase storage and usable counter space while also allowing for full sized oven and cooktop. This was a total gut renovation. What I truly appreciated was that Rosemary stuck to my budget- she never tried to upsell me on what she knew was not important to me. Two years later, I am still in love with the design and finished product. Also, I did not have a contractor when I began this project. Poggenpohl recommended a contract that did a fantastic job and delivered on time and most importantly, on budget. There were no surprises. This was my first major renovation project and I was expecting the experience to be quite unpleasant. Rosemary and the Poggenpohl team made it easy. They were on top of everything so there were no surprises. I will contract with Poggenpohl the next time I have a renovation- no questions asked!
