Inspired by human beings' relationship with and concept of their relationship with non-human nature, Rebecca paints semi-abstract works referencing landscapes and figures as well as expressive abstracts. Her large-scale abstracts transposing sensory experiences, from rhythm to vibration, seek to visually depict phenomena such as tempo, pitch and beat through calligraphic movement and monochrome palettes, encouraging shifts in perspective. The editor in chief of a leading women's magazine, Rebecca uses premium acrylics and oils to viscerally celebrate the limitations of words and limitlessness of wordless language. Rebecca works with a number of leading art consultants globally on residential and commercial commissions and has a permanent presence in Melbourne's Bridge 38 gallery.
