Rebecca has a very down to earth and personalized approach to learn what you want, and then, narrows down the options to those that meet your desires making the whole process straightforward and painless. Had we done this on or own, we would spend a great deal of effort trying to crystalize what we wanted and how to accomplish it, and no doubt with a lesser outcome. We came to rely on her judgement, confident that she knew our preferences. A friend referred Rebecca to us and we’re so happy that we were able to partner with her on the renovation of our kitchen. After having an amazing experience working with Rebecca on a full gut of our kitchen, we couldn't think of anyone better to walk us through a major basement renovation. Rebecca always takes a collaborative approach to design and gives functionality, aesthetic, and budget equal consideration. Having Rebecca manage the project reduced our stress level dramatically and we are thrilled with the results, and so are the kids! Its better than I could have ever imagined. We hired Rebecca after we had started on the renovation and addition to our 90 year old home. Looking back we wish that we had hired her before the project started. Rebecca listened carefully and came with great ideas that fit our style. All the while she kept the decision process simple for colours, designs, flooring, tiles and fixtures by proposing a few options. I can't remember a situation where we didn't select one of her three ideas. On budgeting Rebecca helped us decide where to spend our budget as she taught us where we needed to spend money and where we could save. This allowed the total budget to go further. Best of all Rebecca was a dream to work with. Through all of the difficult twists, turns and decisions on the renovation project she stayed positive, which made it so much easier for us to stay positive and motivated.

We hired Rebecca based on the recommendation of friends, and she is fantastic!! She has helped us finish our basement, which was previously unfinished and a dumping ground for all our 'stuff'. Rebecca provided multiple design ideas after meeting with us to understand style and preferences. Her designs provided a creative use of the space and variety for discussion of how we would truly use the basement. Once we settled on a layout, she managed the project, budget and timing with Juan Carlos (our amazing contractor!) and coordinated furniture layout and installation. The process has been fun and stress-free. We now have a great space, maximizing storage and style! Thank you, Rebecca. We can't wait to move onto our next project....the Master Bath!

Rebecca partnered with us to design our kitchen and backyard renovation. The kitchen is small and her creative use of space helped us get the max flow and value out of it. She was awesome when it came to rebuilding our detached garage into a living space, complete with car port, living room and loft clubhouse for our kids. Tons of creativity and follow through! She is a great communicator too through the process.

I have used Rebecca's assistance both at our island cottage and in my home in Toronto. She always listens carefully and understands that real people live in the space she is working on. As a designer she is smart, creative,and very pleasant to be around. As an added bonus both projects were under budget.

Rebecca Purdy is a skilful interior designer with practical ideas that work. My objective was to achieve more sleeping space in my cottage, and a second bathroom. The results were two beautiful and interesting bedrooms as well as a bathroom in what was previously a closet. The renovations are next to impossible to spot. They look like they were part of the original cottage. Rebecca's construction details were followed to the millimetre, and they worked perfectly. The contractor was impressed and proud of his work. The project came in under budget. I will definitely use Rebecca's services again.

I've worked with Rebecca on a two important projects..my bathroom and my kitchen. It was a relief to be able to work with a professional who really understood our needs and respected our budget. Her ability to translate my ideas in a practical way was fantastic. I would not only highly recommend working with Rebecca, but I can't imagine going to anyone else who I would trust as much as her. My bathroom went from horrible to incredible, and she helped guide us in choosing the practical products that work with a young family. Our kitchen was even worse and her experience with layout and how I really use the space allowed for smart organizing of the space. We have hired Rebecca twice. First to design and rebuild our outdoor shed into a family space with deck and secondly to gut and remodel our bathroom. Rebecca was wonderful at listening to our design preferences and turning them into a final product that looks fantastic.
