About Us
re:loom employs and empowers homeless and low-income individuals through weaving beautiful, one-of-a-kind products out of recycled clothing. Using old fashioned floor looms, the weavers create beautiful, handmade products to be sold for residential and commercial use, including indoor/outdoor rugs and floor runners, pillows, placemats, table runners, hammocks, and small accessories.
Services Provided
re:loom is a program of Initiative for Affordable Housing, Inc. in Atlanta, Ga. We employ homeless/at-risk individuals with full-time on-site jobs with health benefits, as well as, training and leadership opportunities. re:loom helps homeless families get jobs, earn income, learn life skills to move to independent housing and/or other job opportunities to help break the cycle of poverty.
