About Us

RJ Dailey Construction Co. has been building finely crafted homes since 1976. For more than 30 years RJ Dailey has built a wide array of meticulously detailed homes, from traditional to contemporary, always demanding the very highest quality workmanship from its craftspeople, suppliers and subcontractors. Our success as a builder of fine custom homes is based on the complete satisfaction of our clients both during the construction process and at the completion of each residence. Customer satisfaction typically equates to the finest quality finish project at the most competitive pricing available. Our business is modeled around these two principles. Our clients are our advertising; 100% of our new business is by referral. Many clients have returned to RJ Dailey Construction to build second and even third projects.

Having worked with RJ Dailey throughout the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to see the evolution of the different types of homes they’ve built. From contemporary homes that implore modern building methods and materials to more traditional residences that adhere to certain traditional vernaculars, the homes the RJ Dailey team is know for can best be summarized as unique with an attention to fine craftsmanship. RJ Dailey’s many project can be scene through-out the peninsula and surrounding bay area hillsides, having visited several of them and having worked closely alongside their team, their personable spirit and boutique style service is more than likely the reason why people choose to live in a RJ Dailey built home. I have enjoyed working on several projects with R J Dailey Construction for over eight years. During that time I have only seen quality workmanship, integrity, loyalty and reliability. RJ Dailey sees his projects as more than new construction sites. Bob and his staff take a personal interest in their projects by providing custom quality homes for each individual lifestyle, comfortable timeless living spaces for families all with an extreme attention to detail. We are a custom cabinet and closet company that has worked with RJ Dailey on several projects. We work with many different contractors and RJ Dailey consistently performs at the highest level. They are responsible, respectful and competent. A true testament of this is that with every Dailey project I have personally been involved with the company has maintained excellent relations with both their subs and their homeowner customers through the end of the project. This is something just not that common in residential construction. I can specifically acknowledge their project managers Ian and Aaron whom I have worked with on Dailey projects. Both are great partners to work with and excellent communicators. RJ Dailey is an excellent company to work with.

Outstanding, far far exceeded my expectations in so many areas. Initially they told me they were working for me, I was the boss, they would do whatever they could to make sure they built exactly what I wanted. They've worked to save money by finding excellent subcontractors and negotiating fair and reasonable prices. The quality of the work is exceptional. They make time to explain processes and plans as well as issues to me, to get my opinions and to offer advice. There have been no budget over-runs. Chosing them to add onto and remodel my home was the best decision I've made.
