I purchased a sleeper sofa from this unprofessional company around on September 5th 2019. I purchased a sofa over the phone that they had in stock, in their warehouse so their would be less wait time. This particular one that they had in their warehouse and paid a little bit more to have in expedited. We needed one as soon as possible for our gallery showroom to house one of our visiting artists. I was told it would be delivered in no more then two weeks. A month passed, and after a lot of hassle and phone calls because the couch was very late and I was ready to demand a full refund, but they offered me a cash incentive of $450 if I would not cancel and said the couch would arrive in a week. Three weeks later the couch arrived late and was negligently delivered. I called Sleepers in Seattle and told them the couch was damaged, late, and the “upgrade of the bedding” was not with the item. They were again very rude passed the blame and said tuff luck. That was the last draw for me. There complete lack of customer service and total disregard for their negligence made me determine that I would exercise their return policy. I contacted them by email and by phone asking to return the couch. They again said tuff luck not their problem and that I did not qualify for a return. As you can see below and in the hyperlink they have a 10 day no questions asked return policy, which I tried to exercise. I made every feasible attempt to deal with the merchant directly.
“Product will need to be in original condition in order to process return, and initiated within 10 days of your home delivery. We will return your payment entirely, less our roundtrip transit costs. This will include our costs to ship the furniture to your home, and back to our facility. Please keep in mind that the total can be several hundred dollars, significantly more than the amount charged for White-Glove Home Delivery. We will pick up your item via the same team who delivered. There is no restocking fee, made possible by our brick-and-mortar showroom. Product will be inspected upon return to our facilities, at which time refund can be processed.”
Sleepers in Seattle Return Policy is in the hyperlink below. I have read their return policy in its entirety and I was well within the criteria to initiate a return. My place of business and home along with the couch was damaged as a result of a negligent delivery, which I understand they third party outsource. However, I still am in my rights under their own return policy to get my money back, and they refused to initiate a return and have repeatedly been rude and told me I will never get a dime of my money back. I hope and trust anyone reading this will take serious time to think twice before giving this company any business.

BE AWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY
I purchased a sleeper sofa and paid over $2,300 but I NEVER received the sofa. I contacted them but they had no idea where my sofa was. All they said was that it was shipped, but couldn't tell me when it will be delivered, where the sofa is, or what they will do about my missing sofa. Shame on you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am telling, they have the worst customer service in the United States. I buy most of my items online and I am a big shopper. By far, this has been the worst company I dealt with in my life time.

Horrible customer service experience. Don’t have my couch and not sure I ever will. Miserable to deal with - they don’t care and they don’t get it.

Stay away from this Company!!! Their products are garbage and they stall you with repairs so you go past the 10 day warranty period!! The delivery was delayed, the product had several damages (still not repaired after 3 months) and the pull out sofa damaged my brand new hard wood floors and they refused to compensate!!

Ordered our sectional on May 1st, and still have not received it. Customer service is a joke, if you can even call it service.
When researching sectional sleepers, we came across these and were worried it may not fit in our small and oddly-shaped entryways. We e-mailed before purchase to ask about the model we were interested in and were told "it would be no problem" because even if it didn't fit, the whole thing can be completely disassembled to get it into the house. Great. So, we ordered it and upgraded our delivery to include unpacking and placement inside our home. The estimate said 4-8 weeks for delivery. We ordered it a full 8 weeks ahead of our wedding, just to make sure it would be there in time for our guests to sleep on during our wedding weekend.
About six weeks after ordering, and no word still from the company, we inquired with customer service about the status of our order and got a very generic response saying that the lead time is 4-8 weeks (Um, obviously, it said that when we purchased it) and that we should receive it "sometime at the end of June or beginning of July" but that they couldn't give us any more detailed information than that until it arrived in our local area. Strike 1.
Well, our wedding came and went, and we still hadn't heard any more from them. We finally inquired a bit more strongly after having completely missed the main point of ordering the sleeper sofa in the first place (and having to rush out during our wedding week to buy a memory foam mattress so our family could sleep on the floor), about the whereabouts of our sofa. It was only after our complaint that they finally sent us an e-mail with nothing but tracking information, and saying that our sofa would not arrive until July 18-23... a full three weeks after the 8 week time frame. No apology, not even any pleasantries. Strike 2.
We complained about the tardiness of our delivery and the lack of communication on their part. We received what is, in my opinion, a customer service F you... "I'm sorry for your inconvenience. Our lead times are just an estimate." Yeah, no kidding, that's why you give a four week time frame. If it's going to be a full 3 weeks to a month longer than your "estimate," how about you build that into your estimate in the first place? We eventually got them to agree to refund our extra delivery fee, although apathetically. So, we waited for our delivery and for our refund. The delivery came first. We took off a day of work to have the sofa delivered. Sure enough, as we had predicted, the sofa did not fit through our weird entryways, but I was not worried, they told us it would be no problem to completely disassemble the piece, right?? Wrong.
First of all, the delivery company wasn't informed that there was any possibility of disassembly, and they (very apologetically, they are not associated with Sleepers in Seattle) told us that in order to disassemble it, they would have had to have been told ahead of time. We could not have told them ahead of time because Sleepers never told us any information about who/what/where/when our sofa would be delivered. We call customer service while the delivery company is still there (as they instruct to do if there are any issues) and we are told... oh guess what... if you need it to be completely disassembled, there's going to be an extra charge for that, and you'll have to let the delivery company take it back to the warehouse with them to disassemble it and then schedule a re-delivery at a future date. So, not only was there an extra charge that they didn't disclose when we asked about getting the sofa into our house in the first place, but now we will have to take another day off of work to have this re-delivered, or pay $700 in round trip shipping to send it back to them. At this point, we still hadn't received our delivery fee refund (over a week later), and had to remind them two more times before the refund came almost two weeks later. Though, that small consolation will be canceled out by whatever extra money they manage to extort from us if and when we resolve this.
We have been going back and forth with their "customer service" department for the last week and getting the same canned, apathetic, unhelpful responses every time. At this point, they have had our money for three months, and we still have no sofa to show for it, and they are still trying to suck more money out of us without once having taken any accountability for any of the issues that have gone on thus far. I'm frustrated and so tired of dealing with them. The prices may be good and if you're lucky and take the gamble and don't have any issues, maybe you'll get a nice sofa for a good price. But, if you have to go through the crap that we have had to go through, you'll regret it. I'd look elsewhere if I could.

Do not order a couch from this company! The couch was uncomfortable and sub par for the price. When we went to return it the process took almost 2 months and cost us 900$! So now they can sell it at there store in Seattle so we basically paid for their shipping. I never had a dedicated person to the sale, and I was always the one who had to contact them in the process basically hounding them. We are still trying to make sure the refund is correct. I feel it is ridiculous for this company to think they can ship outside of Seattle when most national companies will cover the shipping with a return. We went with Havertys and got a call 3 days after the sale to check on the satisfaction and quality of the product.

I purchased an $1800 sleeper chair from this Company in early November for guaranteed delivery before Thanksgiving. The chair just made it but it was obviously broken when it was unpack (we paid for the "white glove" delivery); the chair would simply not open. It is now February 5th and the chair remains un-usable. As required by their contract we had to allow them an opportunity to repair the chair - multiple companies have been to my home - the first was not familiar with the product, the second said it was not repairable. The Company contacted the manufacturer who advised them (without seeing the chair) that an entire new mechanism (to open the sleeper) would be required. The Company claimed they ordered it before the Christmas holiday. I have heard nothing for weeks.
If I could give the Company zero stars I would. Customer service has been completely ineffective. No one should pay for a product and have it sit broken in their home for almost three months with no end in site. I am sure the fact that this was an internet purchase is exacerbating the problem. The Company is in Washington and I am in New York. I did do research and checked reviews and even called several times and talked to the sales staff before ordering so that I felt confident making a large purchase from a Company on the other side of the country. I know it would be expensive for them to ship this chair back and send me a replacement - however, that is what a reputable company that cares about its reputation would do. Its a cost of doing business and we are not to blame because the chair was shipped broken. The Company has put its interests before that of its customer.
I would strongly recommend that you not purchase from this Company unless you are local. There might be 100 great reviews but one needs to look at the negative reviews to really understand what a company will do when things go wrong. This is not an issue of a disagreement about whether the color is correctly shown in the online pictures. The Company acknowledges that the chair was broken from the day it arrived thru no fault of ours. (All the repair companies that have looked at it agree it was manufactured with part of the internal spring mechanism installed incorrectly.)
At this point I have no option but to throw out the chair and eat the $1800 or sue the Company. Sleepers in Seattle should be embarrassed about the way they handled this.

Bought a small space sleeper. Had it sent to MD. Which meant it had to go through the delivery company they use - Manna; who then passes it off to the local distributor, Translogistix who then contracts it out. I asked for delivery on a Saturday. Was told it was possible. Paid extra. It was very unsettling that Sleepers can not track the movement of the couch once it's finished. No one could give me a good answer on where it was in the delivery/transport process. Couch is very nice except that there's a nail or staple ready to come thru fabric on front of arm. I mentioned it to my salesperson and got back "glad you like it". I recommend getting the next upgrade mattress - it's amazing. The delivery people could barely lift the couch up the inside stairs and ended up immediately crashing it through my window next to the stairs. I mentioned that they went through the window but my husband said to at least let them get it upstairs. I confronted them about it and got a "who me" - and it was a VERY defensive tone. I took pictures of the window; we wrote a note on the delivery slip, which I had them initial - they DO NOT let you keep a copy of the slip (warning bells!!!!) so I took a picture of that too. I sent pictures of the antique broken window and the initialed delivery slip to Sleepers and Translogistix. The local delivery place finally had the contractor pay us - maybe due to my salesperson at Sleepers (who said he would see what he could do) or the fact that I tried to contact the owner of Sleepers (a customer service rep from there did call me back).

My experience with Sleepers in Seattle has been absolutely horrible. Save yourself a lot of stress and trouble and go with a reputable/well known furniture company. The remainder of our furniture has been purchased through West Elm, Pottery Barn and Crate and Barrel and similar companies and have had a great experience with all of them.
First off, I had to request fabric samples three times (once after they indicated that they had already been sent). This should have been a red flag, but I went ahead as I really liked the design of a specific sofa that they offer from Lazar. The process for ordering online was easy enough, but make sure to confirm the measurements with them, including where the sleeper structure may hang between the frame of the couch and the feet. We also actually sent them pictures of the hallway/stairs that it would need to go through with measurements, but of course never got a response.
They told me it would arrive within 4-6 weeks, however it ended up taking three months. I started requesting updates after about a month, at which time they told me that it would be late but they would monitor it closely and put a rush on it. I never heard anything back, so I continued to follow up regularly with the same response, but with no action on their part (they never followed up with me...I always had to get back in touch with them). I let them know that there was a specific date that I absolutely needed it by and to let me know if they were not going to deliver so that I could cancel and go with a local option. Long story short, they ended up telling me that they requested shipment on November 14th, however I never heard from the shipping company to schedule a delivery until November 20th, with delivery options starting in early December. (Basically they told me that they requested shipping so I would not cancel, but in reality the couch was not ready (I confirmed this with the shipping company) until the 20th, so I did not receive it in time). They promised me a $50 discount due to the delay and that they would provide additional discounts from the manufacturer...of course that was the last I heard of that even after following up multiple times.
When the couch finally arrived after three months, the white glove delivery was absolutely terrible. The people that showed up ended up backing their truck into a rock wall at my house in front of my neighbors (and expressing frustration with profanity to the appreciation of my neighbors) and then told me that they were tired from being up late. One of the delivery people was very small and was unable to effectively lift the couch, so I had to do it. The people were nice enough, but the experience was terrible, especially compared to every other delivery company I have dealt with (we just moved into our home, so we have been ordering a lot of furniture).
There are many other issues that I will not go on about, but just do yourself an enormous favor and avoid these guys. I can honestly say that this has been the worst buying experience for any product in my entire life and has caused me a tremendous amount of stress. They are a company that basically takes your money and then could really care less about your experience. I could go on, but this is getting long enough already.

I ordered my sleeper and the product was delivered in a timely manner. Unfortunately, it was the wrong sofa. I had to convince the delivery men to take it back, which they were reluctant to do at first. When I contacted SIS, the company set out immediately to determine what had gone wrong and upgraded my delivery without any charge. Sometime later, the company determined that my sofa had been lost and the order would have to be resubmitted. I agreed to do so, and SIS upgraded my mattress to its top-of-the-line memory foam free of charge. The sofa was finally delivered and I'm very happy with the result. I recommend this company without reservation. SIS and its reps persisted until they got the order right.

The staff at Sleepers in Seattle are professional and knowledgeable. We had never purchased a sleeper sofa before and they did a good job of explaining the differing functions and quality of their lines. We chose a mid-priced leather sleeper sofa for a home we were building in a remote Eastern Washington location. The line of sleepers that we chose takes some time - about 12 weeks, but that worked out okay for our time line except for one thing: the sleeper we chose would not fit through the door to the room where we wanted to put it. (The doorways are standard) We ended up having to wait until spring when the muddy ground firmed up enough to walk the sofa (it took 4 guys) around the house to a patio off of the room with sliders that would accommodate the sofa. Take note: sleepers sofas are heavy! Our sleeper sofa looks very nice and has been pronounced very comfortable.

The quality of the leather sleeper sofa I bought from Sleepers in Seattle is excellent beyond my expectations. And the process of selecting and purchasing the sofa was excellent as well.
