We had an opportunity to work with Svetlana @ Estée designs. What impressed me the most was her intent and an approach to deliver a project. Her purpose was not to complete a project and move on to the next one but to deliver happiness, joy to a client when they will live and spend, capture important moments with their loved ones. She went into details which requires an attitude, skills, patience and resources to deliver. If you have decided to work with her, take it you will have the best delivered which is timeless, is detailed, colour palette, textures, mixing of materials and what not.

How can I put in words how great my experience with Svetlana was, and continues to be. The Project: A complete renovation of our "industrial style downtown condo including kitchen, livingroom, 2 bedrooms and hallways. The challenge: Reconfiguring a poor open space layout that was dark, boring and sterile to a warm, cozy and inviting home. Svetlana was responsible for design, procurement and project management. I cannot stress how important it was in particular to have a seasoned professional take over the PM aspect of this job. We encountered several challenges (not caused by Svetlana) that made me eternally grateful that the foxes were in very capable hands. I would never have come close to realizing the spectacular results that she achieved. our house is now a home that has improved our lifestyle considerably. Bonus-increased property value to boot! Thank you Svetlana for the most amazing work you accomplished. By the way, these couple of before and after do not to the job justice. Svetlana from Estee Designs was our design consultant and project manaver for the extensive renovations for our downtown Toronto condo. Her proffessional expertise and attention to detail has resulted in a first class outcome for our property. Throughout the process she oversaw all aspects of the operation and kept us appraised of all matters. The result far exceeded our expectations and my wife snd i are thrilled with our new home. I wouks highly recommend her to anyoneone planning a similar project.

We purchased a condo that had been designed and decorated by Svetlana of Estée Design Inc. The condo is exceptionally well thought out...every available space has been attractively and purposefully planned to maximize storage. Rooms have been thoughtfully and beautifully decorated to create an illusion of spaciousness. Each room has been outfitted with high quality and edgy/unique touches. It is simply a gorgeous condo...captivating at first glance...and so livable!!

Julia Kogut

Space looks good. Very happy with the millwork. Unfortunately cannot recommend Svetlana, Estee Design, due to several issues that have led me to change my previous review. I will not go into details, and I'm happy that others have had positive experiences. However, I wish I would have gone with a different designer.

Unfortunately, there is a grey area of what qualifies as client's problem or designer's problem. A home project is very personal. The most important thing in the design process that brings the best outcome is the relationship between client and designer. Creating unique spaces and being creative is my best reward for hard work. Interior design is personal - designers are deeply embedded in client's lives and their private space. It takes a lot of patience, trust, respect and understating for both parties. The original review that is attached to this reply, was a result of a three and a half months of hard work, making Julia’s home not only look and feel stylish and beautiful, but also functional and unique!
The old adage that the customer is always right isn't always true - we do everything we can to accommodate. Sometimes clients ask for things that aren't reasonable, or that conflict with the established process. Standing behind the principles of your business philosophy sometimes means saying no to a client. If that yields a bad review, so be it.
I regret that we could not accommodate all of Julia’s expectations and wishing her the very best of luck in her newly completed condo.
As a designer, I pride myself on the professionalism, integrity, and quality of my work. Customer service is my #1 goal as 80% of our work comes from referrals and repeat clients. Julia's home is a beautifully finished project down to every detail and client’s original review is an ample proof for that.
