I have used Chadsworth Columns for many different projects, and in each instance the company has worked hard to ensure that the columns, pilasters, or other products meet my exacting standards. The customer service, knowledge of their salesmen, and delivery of items on time and on budget is what one looks for. It is unusual today, in a world of so many column manufacturers, to find a company which has taken the time to learn about classical architecture from the ground up so that an architecture, designer, or buyer working with them can be assured they are getting products that are classically correct. When the founder of the company himself has taken the time to study classical architecture, and returned his knowledge through the company, that speaks volumes about their commitment to quality and beauty. I wouldn't use anyone else.

Commented: is the railing wood? did someone build it?Thank you for your inquiry. This railing was built on-site by a master craftsman. It is wood, and was designed to mimic bundles of wheat.

Commented: Size of Chadsworth columns?The Tuscan columns are 32" bottom diameter x 19' tall. The width of the house is 44'. The width of the front porch would be 36'.
