Trey Hoff is a talented world-class architect and a joy to work with. We wanted the most cutting-edge architect to create our lifelong dream home maximizing our 360-degree views, and there was no doubt Trey was absolutely the right fit. He took our very raw concept using his artistic and technical skills and designed an extremely modern chic home with clean lines and creative areas that kept our house simple yet beautifully complex. The way Trey balances function and form is impressive. Working with him and his calm personality made a daunting plan, enjoyable and exciting. Our home is not only stunning it's a home that we can sincerely enjoy for many years. Thank you, Trey!

Trey is an absolute master. He has designed two homes for me. I lived in one for 15 years and each day appreciated his spaces, angles, light and functionality more. So when I set about to build a new home, I asked him to design it. This time, the challenges were very unique and difficult due to lot topography (rocky ledges, narrow approach and important view corridors). His design for my home- now under construction- was inspired. Trey has an ability to see what others can't. My builders have often commented how thorough his construction drawings are, seldom requiring on-site consultation. Also, Trey is wonderful to work with. The process is fun, reasonable, and he meets deadlines. He handles everything personally. Trey is much in demand so if you get him you are lucky.

If you're not using Trey for your project, you're using the wrong architect; yes, Trey's that good. Extremely knowledgeable and able to focus and understand the vision of the client. Trey designs to his customers expectations by truly listening and interpreting what the client envisions. Don't even contemplate a project without first consulting Trey.

Trey's work and input on this project was amazing ! We came with a huge lists of wants, and expected to be told at some point that it was not possible, but it never happened. Trey listened and absorbed, and from the first preliminary sketches, he was right on. As the project continued, Trey would offer new ideas (as did we) and at some point the project took a life of its own. There were so many wonderful details, that we can't remember if they originated from us or Trey. All we know now is, it's beautiful, expertly engineered, thoughtfully planned, and architecturally significant.

We chose Trey to design our new house because of his reputation and we have not been disappointed. We interviewed two other architects, but Trey had a personality that suggested he would listen and work with us to achieve a certain look and feel. We gave Trey a central concept to work around and his first draft exceeded all our expectations. My actual quote was "he nailed it". We spent several months finalizing the plans and through it all he listened and was receptive to our changes / suggestions. Considering the product we received and the price we paid, Trey will well worth the money.

My building contractor suggested that i speak with trey hoff about designing my new home here in boise. We had a really good meeting and understanding right away, and have continued to do so right thru the entire process... I suggested a particular architectural design i favored and he took the ball and ran right in the direction i had hoped for ! He was flexible and listened to all my ideas. He & my construction team have made this project such a treat for me !

My husband and I retained Trey to design our new home in the Boise area. We provided ideas about the size and type of home we wanted. Trey listened carefully to our ideas and then worked up a preliminary design. It was great. He not only included all of our wish list items, but his plan was very creative. The house he created included special features like a pergola covered patio outside our dining room. This is something we never would have visualized on our own, but is something we can see ourselves using often. He also designed the home to make the most of the views afforded by the lot. The design flows really well, with attention to details large and small. Trey has been a real pleasure to work with. He accommodated the fact that we are currently living out of state, and was able to have conference calls to discuss revisions. He was able to deliver a complete set of construction docs ahead of our deadline and within budget. We are very glad that we found this firm on Houzz.com and highly recommend him.

We are very happy with the completion of our home on the Olympic peninsula designed by Trey Hoff. We found him to be very talented, professional and quite easy to work with. He listened to our desires and was able to design a truly unique and contemporary home. Our builder found him very knowledgeable and always available. Now that the house is completed we have people (builders included) who stop and ring the doorbell to ask about the design and materials used. Even the building supplier we used sends people who are building new homes up to see the house.

My wife Jenn and I built a home in the Boise area in March of 2010. We interviewed several architects and home designers in the Boise Valley. We chose Trey Hoff for several factors. Passion: Trey is extremely passionate about design and architecture! I am a true believer that Passion is what makes you successful in your craft! Trey is a problem solver and a forward thinker. He has a solution for any problem, very analytical in thinking and is always two or three steps ahead in any situation. Trey is an incredible architect because he has grown his knowledge base over several years in any aspect and/or genre of architecture. Although, Trey can design all styles of homes I think it is safe to say that his passion is for modernism. Jenn and I built a (Modern Prairie) home in the Boise Foot Hills. Trey was able to conceptualize a functional, comfortable design while still keeping within our budget! Trey is an incredible listener and really understood what we were looking for in regards to form and function. Trey is with you every step of the way. He goes to the job site to make sure your builder is not cutting corners and stays to the plans. Trey Knows every inch of the plan intimatley and can point mistake out on the job site. Trust me, mistake happen but Jenn and I were never worried because Trey was with us till we got the keys:) In closing, Trey always challenges himself. He looks at previous designs and projects and takes that small piece of inspiration and applys it within future projects. He shows an element of understanding to achieve clients dreams. But above all, Trey believes in himself and his design proposals. He is innovative, sympathetic, rigorous and a pioneer in his field. One of the best decisions I have ever made in my life was hiring Trey Hoff! We have been in our Dream Home for a year now and could not be happier! We owe it all to Trey!

Trey did an amazing job of capturing what we wanted right from the start. He listened carefully and translated our numerous requirements into a thoroughly detailed, well-conceived plan. His ability to understand what we wanted combined with his expertise in building made the process fast and easy. He also worked hard to provide cost-saving ideas that allowed us to get what we wanted on a budget and followed up during construction to correct oversights by the subs.
