Virginia Bishop Interiors is a boutique interior design, decoration and styling service focusing on sophisticated, contemporary, residential projects with an individual and global aesthetic. We tackle the largest of design renovation projects, through to smaller projects such as individual room decoration and styling for sale. "Our guiding principle is that your home should feel authentic, filled with objects of meaning, curiosities collected from trips abroad, articles handed down through the generations of a family, a special objet d’art or a painting that holds pride of place, pieces that come with a background story. Your home should reflect you and in doing so create a calming and familiar surrounding. It is our goal to not only deliver an interior that feels like home but also delights at every turn." Virginia brings over 25 years of local and international business and creative experience to every project. She recently returned from New York where she attended the famed New York School of Interior Design. It was with great pleasure that I collaborated with Queensland Interior Decorators Association president and HIA Award winner, Virginia Bishop, on a property styling consultation at a New Farm apartment. Virginia had her client's best interests at the forefront at every moment during the consultation. She made suggestions and offered ideas to enhance the property's value for sale, always mindful of the clients specific needs while living in the home for sale. I would happily recommend Virginia to anyone seeking a dedicated, professional and caring designer.

I gave Virginia Bishop Interiors a brief for my balcony. Virginia presented me with ideas/concepts for my space in a timely manner (I had a party coming up). Impressed and happy with the recommendations I gave Virginia the go ahead. Operating on a tight schedule Virginia was able to finish her work in time and on budget for my party. I now have a balcony that I can use night or day for entertaining up to 10 guests.

I engaged Virginia Bishop Interiors to transform a tired early 90's light industrial office (replete with ceiling tiles, fluro lighting and left over furniture) into a sophisticated gentleman's office that would be more appropriate for the type of business I conduct. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. The transformation that has taken place is beyond my expectations. The thought and level of detail that has gone into the overall gestalt has had a transformative effect to my daily work mood and productivity, but, more importantly, it has also had a profound psychological effect (to my advantage) on those coming to the space to conduct business negotiations. Indeed many that have visited my new sophisticated office have had nothing but glowing appreciation for the transformation. Virginia's style, colour, practical design and lighting sense were matched by her ability to manage the build and keep in check costs and contractors. She kept me abreast of schedules and budgets, and had an innate sense of providing the appropriate level of communication without bombarding me with too much information. She managed to fit in the majority of the work over the Christmas/New Year period whilst I was on holiday, which resulted in minimal disruption to my work lift. I would have no hesitation in recommending Virginia Bishop Interiors to anyone that is in the market for an interior designer. - Semi-retired Gentleman

Virginia Bishop Interiors assisted me with furniture selection and styling of fully furnished rental properties. Virginia was able to work with what we already owned and advise on purchases to complement within the restricted budget allocations. Virginia then personally assisted with assembly of furniture and placement prior to photography. I found Virginia enthusiastic, and demonstrated an understanding of design for the end user. Our projects appealed to the demographics they were supposed to, whilst meeting both budget and time constraints. I would not hesitate to recommend her for your next project.
