Wamhoff Design | Build

I recommend Wamhoff Design Build. They put in a new covered patio, a one-room (utility/entry room) addition, and converted our old utility room to a pantry. They were professional, responded to our needs, and did a quality job. I would dock half a star for some communication issues in initial project planning and first phase of execution, and sloppiness of some of the sub-contractors, but realize they can't all be perfect on a big project. In the end Wamhoff made sure we were satisfied and we would use them again on a future project.

We worked with Wamhoff to renovate our office building--an original 1940's farmhouse. Their team was amazing from start to finish. We loved working with Brad, who did our architectural drawings. Theresa is a rockstar that helps keep everyone organized & makes sure things are done on time. Jake was our project manager who was on site every day making sure things were going smoothly. Their communication was amazing & the quality of work from their trades are second to none! We are so excited with how the building turned out & cannot thank Wamhoff & team for bringing our vision to life!

My neighborhood flooded during Hurricane Harvey and I spend over a year in an apartment complex with my flooded neighbors. We would meet regularly to discuss the progress being make in each individuals situation. I immediately learned how fortunate I was to have picked Wamhoff from three custom builders bids that I had received. Wamhoff was not the cheapest nor the most expensive, but they were the best. I've been to many of my neighbors homes during construction and after the construction was completed and immediately noticed the quality of craftmanship that Wamhoff provided. We didn't put our house back together as it was before Harvey. We made many upgrades and last minute changes that were handled without any issues or delays. Also, I didn't receive a balloon bill at the end of construction, where the builder had missed costs due to poor paperwork and change request administration...a BIG complaint with my neighbors. We knew exactly where we were financially every step during the whole process. I would use them again without question and recommend them to other as I have done.

They stick to their promises. They are helpful with design questions. Most impressive is that they are timely, competent and impeccably honest.

You will not find a more talented, dependable, trustworthy, responsive, accomplished group of building and design professionals. We have historically hired Wamhoff for projects ranging in size and complexity from small renovations to gutting and rebuilding an entire home. This is the only company we would consider hiring again for future projects and the only company we confidently recommend to our family and friends. Class-act operations, trades, project managers, staff, ownership. Can’t get any better than this team.

We had the pleasure of working with Wamhoff twice. The first time was an addition and remodel of our home. The second time was three months after we completed the remodel when our home flooded in Hurricane Harvey. We had such a great experience the first time around, we knew exactly who we would call after flooding. Wamhoff was easy to work with, used top notch contractors, has industry and design expertise which makes the process easier, and their team is just good, honest people trying to do their best for their clients. If something wasn’t right, they corrected it without an issue. Everyone was so kind and helpful - from the ladies in the office to our project manger to the owner Greg himself.

The folks at Wamhoff did an excellent job. We could not be more proud of our newly renovated kitchen and are enjoying it very much.

The Wamhoff TEAM did a great job on our renovation project. From beginning to end, the project was managed properly. The job finished on time and within our budget. Brad did a great job on the architectural design and Jake managed the job very effectively. The subs were timely and very professional. We used Wamhoff Design and Build to fix up/reconfigure the first floor of our home after Harvey. The team at Wamhoff offered us some good major remodeling suggestions that we reviewed with our architect. With finished plans in hand, work commenced incorporating these changes that made the first floor more open and the master bedroom and master bath more appealing and functional. Construction and remodeling commenced and went as planned. A few minor things came up and Wamhoff's team came up with good fixes that actually worked to our advantage. After our project was completed, our daughter decided to use them for a project at her house based upon the work she saw that they did for us. We have recommended Wamhoff to others too.
