Walk Green is our go to source for FSC Certified hardwood decking and siding! Sustainable sourced wood that will last 40+ years. It's absolutely mandatory to support FSC when sourcing tropical hardwoods and Walk Green has done a great job of importing quality products at a competitive price and we've always enjoyed working with them.

It's good to find a sustainable grown and harvested wood products supplier that one can trust as being truly sustainable. WalkGreen has been competitive in their pricing with non certified wood and delivers on time.

I was in the market to replace my 10' x 24' home deck. I wanted to ensure usage of Forest Stewardship Council Certified wood to verify that the wood was from sustainably grown plantation wood and not from illegal or unsustainable sources. This was particularly important since my wood of choice was Cumaru (aka Brazilian Teak) hardwood. Tess Lindsey at Walk Green Products was particularly good at getting large lumber yards like Dunn's on board with the requirements of FSC verification at every link in the supply chain. It took a little longer but was well worth the wait. The deck looks great; it will last 25+ yrs with minimal maintenance and it is not from the last tree in the rain forest (FSC certified). Any other certification is like the fox watching the hen-house. Don't go there.
