Wolverine Custom Painting L.L.C. is a growing business located in the heart of Washtenaw County. Established in 2002, Wolverine proudly calls Ann Arbor, Michigan it's home. We are definitely not your average painting company. Every member of our team carries with them 20+ years of skilled trade experience, some in multiple disciplines. Our collaborative partners include a Structural Engineer, Architect/Interior Designer, Plumber, Electrician & HVAC Mechanical contractor all of which are Licensed in their respective fields of expertise. We believe that quality is not an act, it is a habit! Wolverine Custom Painting L.L.C. merges your vision with our quality. In addition to Painting we specialize in Kitchen, Bathroom & Basement remodeling projects. As often as possible, our company utilizes environmentally friendly green building & reclaimed materials, Top-Grade Low VOC, Zero VOC & LEED approved primers, paints & finishes. * Hourly & Day Labor rates are available upon request.

Doug and his crew worked with us this summer to remove and replace all of the trim and doors in our house. This was a lead abatement project which I was wary to do since I have young kids and was pregnant, but Doug and his crew took our family's safety very seriously. Doug worked with me for a long time before we started the project to determine the best approach. He was very flexible when the scope of the project changed and he kept us within our budget. All of the work they did was high quality. We moved out of our house while the work was being done, so timelines were important to us. The dates they gave us were accurate. Doug is one of the most responsive and trustworthy people I have worked with in this industry.

Doug's crew did a number of things during the job including installing a kitchen backsplash, extending basement walls and adding a door, building and installing a fireplace mantel, some painting, and assorted "handyman" tasks I needed done. A great job from start to finish, and the work was as requested and completed on time. I appreciated very much that Doug was straightforward with me as to what he thought it was worth having his crew do vs. where it made more sense to do it myself if possible vs. not bothering to do it at all because it wouldn't be a good return on the investment. He check in on the work being done to make sure it was meeting his standards, and Jon and Errick delivered. There was a little extra clean up I had to do afterwards, but I think it was par for the course. I won't hesitate to hire Doug again.

I had shower safety bars installed in my mother's condo and Wolverine Custom Painting did an excellent job! Doug was easy and informative to work with and his crew was very accommodating in getting the job done right. I look forward to having them work on some painting and carpentry projects in my own home. Also, one of my friends had nothing but high praises and thanks for Doug and his crew coming in and fixing problems from a previous contractor's bathroom installation. They do super work!

Wolverine Custom Painting just finished painting our master bedroom and sitting room. It was a fairly large job: trim painting, wainscoting and a trimmed out two tier ceiling. They did an amazing job! We can’t stop looking at our room! And, can’t stop comparing it to the very standard and somewhat poor paint job done on the rest of our house thanks to another painter. Being incredibly meticulous I searched high and low for something that was off and found nothing. This was quality work at its finest. The crew was very friendly and professional and tolerated the chaos of kids running around the rest of our house daily so well! Thanks Wolverine Custom Painting, you truly made our bedroom the sanctuary we always wanted!

Wolverine and staff were amazing to work with! In the middle of my bedroom/bathroom/closet remodel I had to terminate the original company I had working on the project because their work was so sloppy and incomplete. Doug and his crew came in, corrected all the mistakes the first company did, and completed the rest of the work on the project. They were meticulous, detail oriented, thorough, and clean! They did everything from painting, plumbing, custom built shelving, and electrical work. It was important for me to know when people were going to be working at my house. I was impressed that they showed up to work on time and when they said they’d be there. Before they left each day, they cleaned up any messes and prepped work for the next day. It was very organized and I would have had my project done MUCH sooner had I went with Wolverine from the start. They will always be my “go to” guys for any project for my home or business!

We had Doug and his crew re-grout cracks in our shower and they were phenomenal. We had Doug come for an estimate and he was very knowledgeable and thorough. He even researched the brand of our old grout that was used (previous owners) so he was familiar with the suite of products and purchased additional products (colorant and sealant) for us to use after they re-grouted. The new grout and caulk look great and he walked us through the application of the additional products and even offered to assist with any questions as we used them. Doug worked with us to make the project cost effective and was in continuos communication with us regarding the project between the time of the estimate until after the project was complete. I would highly recommend Wolverine Custom Painting for any home projects, they go above and beyond. They also do more than painting :).

Doug was excellent to work with along with his team. He met with me before and after the job to do walk throughs and share his plan with me. He noticed and fixed some issues which I hadn't caught. His crew work hard and were very friendly and were careful with my stuff. I plan on having the team back next year to do some additional work for me. He used OSI and caulked the entire exterior of my house in one day for $1700. The job was completed in 9/2017

Our entire house exterior was repaired and painted by Wolverine Custom Painting. The house was power washed. The trim, caulk, gutters, and fence were repaired and/or replaced. All the siding, trim, doors, shutters, and fence were painted. Doug and his entire crew are so pleasant, professional, tidy, respectful, and fun to work with. Our house is absolutely gorgeous and we are so thankful for the attention to detail as well as the patience and understanding while working around our sometimes chaotic life.
