Makings of Fine Kitchens & Bathrooms specialises in providing high-quality custom-built kitchen & bathroom renovations to full-scale homes and apartment refurbishments. Designing, manufacturing, and installing all spaces of your home including outdoor kitchens, wardrobes, entertainment units, vanities, and office joinery, including project management of your renovation. No matter what style you are looking for, be it contemporary to timeless Provincial, Industrial Rustic or Hampton Style; we work with you from the design to completion to assist you in making decisions easier. We are able to undertake complete renovations and co-ordinating other trades... So you only deal with us and we ensure you have a stress free experience! Our 10 step process is explained here: 1. Onsite consultation to identify project brief 2. Creation of a detailed quote and job specification 3. Acceptance of quote and signing of contract 4. We start the design process 5. The designs are altered if necessary, culminating in realistic 3D renderings 6. Final approval and sign off is completed along with selections of materials, fixtures and fittings 7. The manufacturing process begins 8. Installation will begin (supervised by your dedicated site manager) 9. Project is completed with all building codes, Australian Standards and best practice adhered to 10. Our quality guarantee covers all of our products and guarantees you peace of mind

Our renovation journey with Makings has been a straightforward and painless experience. After our initial meeting with Shaun Makings, we felt confident that our needs and requirements were understood. Subsequently, those ideas have been transformed into what we now call our ‘dream kitchen’. We also could not be happier with both the bathroom and ensuite renovations. The Makings team displayed professionalism, creativity and attention to detail and we were particularly impressed with our project manager, Bevan. The project was completed within budget, and although the completion date was extended, this was due to circumstances outside of Makings control. Before we found Shaun, Cristina and the team at Makings, we had a lot of reservations about the renovation process. We had a few quotes from various places that were essentially zero detail and 'just trust us'. It was our first time undertaking renovations and it's also our first home; we had no idea what to expect and were worried that this was what just how it was. But when Makings answered the call, our entire outlook changed. We couldn't have hoped for a better team to help us navigate this for the first time. Patience, understanding and a dedication to making it happen were the cornerstone of their process and I am just so happy with the outcome. I had a clear vision for what I wanted, and Mark was incredibly understanding of this and very accomodating of all my requests. Then Bevan and the team brought it to life perfectly. Everything from taking the time to produce samples for me, to advising on tiny details that I thought only I would care about was never too much to ask of anyone. Overall, the level of care and attention to detail matched ours, and that made it such a trusting and enjoyable experience. I have already and will continue to recommend Makings to anyone who asks, and we can't wait to work with them again on future projects. We couldn't be happier, five stars is not enough.

We are so thrilled with our beautiful new kitchen. Thank you so much Shaun, Cristina and Bevan for all of your patience, advice and guidance. This is the kitchen of our dreams and it has changed our lifestyle dramatically. Our kitchen makes parenting three children and entertaining so much easier and more enjoyable. It looks beautiful and functions perfectly! Shaun gave us great advice on what would and wouldn't work well, where to splurge and where we could save money. Jesse the tiler did an amazing job, and made sure we were happy every step of the way. The whole team at Makings of Fine Kitchens & Bathrooms were exceptional. Our whole project was well thought through, well planned, and executed to perfection. The team onsite were fantastic and were very accomodating with all my questions and input! They were always on time, took care to clean up, and ensured that I was fully aware of what works were happening when so that I could plan my movements. With two small kids around, it was very much appreciated. Shaun was great when I showed him products I liked, and gave me invaluable advice on the practicalities of certain products I liked. The contractors that they bring in (Jessie the tiler, and the electrical team from Evan Jones) were amazing. I have been happily cooking in my finished kitchen for 6 months now, and I am still chuffed every time I come into the space. Even the planning out of drawers, cupboards, etc. has worked out perfectly. I would recommend Shaun and his team without hesitation. I am looking forward to updating more bathrooms in the future just to have the team from Makings of Fine Kitchens and Bathrooms back!

We recently had a new kitchen designed and installed by Makings of Fine Kitchens & Bathrooms. I can't recommend them highly enough. They were so helpful throughout the design process making recommendations about how the kitchen should be laid out and what colours work together while taking into account my requirements and letting me know about aspects I would not have thought of. The installation phase was smooth and the quality of the workmanship outstanding. Each day my house was left neat and tidy, no debris no rubbish. Communication throughout the process was terrific I don't think I ever had to repeat a request as it was always passed onto the relevant person. All tradies... electricians, plumber etc used by Makings met the same high standard. The end result is a high quality kitchen that I absolutely adore. I have been using it for a few weeks now and the layout works perfectly. Nothing I would change at all. Thank you Makings!!

We had a kitchen renovation done by Shaun, Cristina and their team at Makings of Fine Kitchens and Bathrooms. They also transformed an unused bedroom into a butlers pantry plus a study. From the first meeting, we felt comfortable with Shaun. All of the tradies were exceptional. Everything was organised for us, which was excellent. The results are amazing - we couldn't recommend them highly enough. Will definitely use them for future projects.
