Our dealings with everyone at Atlas Architects was both a collaborative and a creative process. Importantly, they were always available for ongoing consultations throughout the project. Sustainability was a priority for us and they incorporated a number of ideas to ensure sustainable outcomes. The end result was beyond our expectations. They also recommended a great builder. We assisted Atlas Architects with a renovation and extension project in Oakleigh. The plans provided were fantastic quality and easy to work with and interpret for the Town Planning submission. They also understood what was required to get a quick response to Council's Request For Information. I highly recommend their services.

Recently completed a project in Fitzroy with Atlas Architects and things couldn't have gone smoother. From start to finish Atlas was well organised and engaged in the project delivering on all the clients requirements while also working in with us as the builder to provide a design that could be efficiently and well constructed. As an interior stylist, I found the design of Atlas Architects not only beautiful but equally functional with high quality craftsmanship. As novice home builders, we were overwhelmed with permit applications, construction methods, material choices and many other expensive decisions. Ton Vu and Aaron Neighbour, together with the team at the Atlas Architect meticulously transformed our requirements and preferences into a concise construction reality. As first-time renovators, we were looking for architects that were top of their game but would also hold our hand through the process and not make use feel like the newbies we were. Atlas were recommended to us through a builder and we are so glad we found them... Ton and Aaron are a total delight to work with, managing to combine both creativity and pragmatism. Their professionalism in dealing with our council led to quick approvals and a an optimal result, despite the heritage overlay challenges, and we have been really impressed by the small design touches tailored specifically to our use of space that they have woven in throughout. Above everything though - they are two fantastic guys who make the whole process easy and enjoyable. We liked working with them so much that we had already referred them to others before we had even finished. We have no hesitations in recommending them to anyone.

Atlas Architects were very professional and collaborative in their approach, great communicators, timely and responsive, and we love the house we are now living in, which has so much light and different spaces. We worked with them for 18 months from concept, town planning, and all documentation for the builder.

Aaron Neighbour and Ton Vu are the directors of Atlas Architects. I’ve been fortunate to have had both of these capable men work for me in my practice, Aaron for four years and Ton for two years. I was sad to see both of them leave my practice when they went in searched of new experiences to widen their architectural knowledge and education. They were great guys to work with. Aaron has extensive knowledge with the National Construction Code and other regulatory bodies through his experience as a building surveyor. His responsibilities when working for me were to take projects through design development and contract documentation in which he excelled. While Ton worked for me he was awarded the Architecture Australia Prize for unbuilt Work. This is testament to his innovated design capabilities and skills. He has particular skills in successful problem solving and is dedicated to the best project outcome. Ton and Aaron are vibrant and positive guys. They complement each other very well in terms of their strengths in designing and delivering architectural projects and I’m confident to recommend them for your up coming project.

Rebecca Naughtin Architect has worked with Ton for a couple of years and more recently, worked with both Aaron and Ton on a feasibility study for a new project.
