“We are so glad we engaged Evan and his team to design our family home before selecting a builder. They really listened to how we wanted to live as a family and translated that into a plan that feels light, functional and welcoming every day. Their patience, care, attention to detail and thoughtful design approach made the experience genuinely enjoyable. We greatly valued Evan’s expertise and guidance throughout the renovation process, and we now truly love our family home.”

“We began working with Tania Coward in early 2021 on the restoration of our Queenslander, with the intention of creating a welcoming and functional home for our multigenerational family. From the outset, Tania impressed us with her professionalism, creativity, and deep understanding of traditional Queenslander architecture. She brought a thoughtful and considered approach to every aspect of the project. Tania designed beautiful open-plan living and entertaining areas for the whole family to enjoy, while also creating more intimate and private spaces tailored to the individual needs of each family member. Her design accommodated our unique requirements as a multigenerational family, including a smaller, separate kitchen, dining, and living room, as well as a semi-detached bedroom and ensuite for added privacy. She worked with the original layout of the house to enhance natural flow, ventilation, and light throughout—all without the need for air conditioning. The outdoor spaces she created are exceptional, offering a seamless extension of the indoor living areas and perfect settings for entertaining. Tania also showed a strong appreciation for the traditional character of the house, carefully retaining and enhancing original features that give the home its unique charm and identity. What stood out most throughout the process was Tania’s collaborative approach. She took each of our requests in stride and worked with us to create a home that truly reflects our family’s needs and lifestyle. We are incredibly grateful for Tania’s expertise and dedication, and we wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking a talented and intuitive architect for a restoration or new build project.”

“Muller Constructions was engaged as the builder for a project designed by Alexandra Buchanan Architecture in Clayfield, Brisbane. The plans were well detailed and the design was fantastic. It was a pleasure working with the ABA team through out the build and the final result speaks for itself. http://www.mullerconstructions.com.au/barlowhouse”
