Liddington Architecture Studio
Architects in Cygnet, Tasmania
“Peter, from Liddington Architecture Studio took our loose brief for two units and created a thoughtful design, sensitive to site and location with excellent attention to detail in the finished drawings. He was great help and support though a protracted planning process and he supervised the build process effectively, ensuring accountability to deadlines and design. He has a collaborative nature and confident approach to his work that made him a pleasure to deal with.”
Dock4 Architects
Architects in Cygnet, Tasmania
“We worked with Dock 4 on a new house design. They were extremely respectful of our ideas, preferences and style, delivering a concept that not only met the brief but exceeded expectation. In terms of design, we felt they knew where to hold back and where to highlight special features or inclusions, creating a home that promises to be both subtle and spectacular. They were happy to consult with our preferred builder throughout the process and were able to clearly explain the process from start to finish, outlining expected costs, timeframes and requirements.”
Daniel Lindahl Architecture
Architects in Cygnet, Tasmania
“We had been floundering for months getting nowhere and constantly changing direction and plans for months. Finally decided to seek the advise of an architecture. Daniel was amazing listened to our requests , learnt what we liked and came up with a plan that we loved within budget and even added things we didn't even think of . Spurred us on and helped us get motivated again. Would thoroughly recommend him for any project big, medium or small...”
Biotope Architecture and Interiors
Architects in Cygnet, Tasmania
“We were delighted to work with Rosa (from Biotope Architecture.interiors) on the rebuild and extension of our 1850s sandstone house in central Hobart. This project was a labour of love and, thus, it was paramount to have an architect that was sympathetic to both the heritage aspects of the structure and to the design necessities of modern life. This was achieved through thoughtful and delicate considerations that yielded a result far beyond what we could’ve imagined! We are ecstatic with the final result.”
Studio Ilk Architecture & Interiors

“Studio Ilk are a pleasure to engage; seamless in their delivery of projects to the highest of standard.”
Perversi-Brooks Architects

“I have worked with Sam on 2 occasions. The first was a renovation and extension to a mud brick house which needed modernising and more internal light. He didn't blink an eye when his brief was, "We want it to have a Mexican /Swiss chalet look". What's more, he achieved this outcome.
I recently consulted Sam to create a concept plan for a small sports pavilion/BBQ area which has some tricky heritage issues to consider. His ideas are exciting and innovative and we're instantly approved by the board.”

Matt Williams Architects
Architects in Cygnet, Tasmania
“Matt Williams architecture provided an excellent service that rendered together all of our ideas into a beautiful home. He was always professional and realistic with us, helping us to work within our budget. He was very knowledgable in creating a very eco friendly home, that catered perfectly to the Tasmanian environment. If anyone is interested in building or renovating a house with style, comfort and great architecture, my wife and I would definitely recommend Matt Williams Architecture.”
Room 11
Architects in Cygnet, Tasmania
“A fabulous artist studio demonstrating Room 11's core architectural ethics. Use of cantilever like GASP, but small scale, angles, proportions and attention to detail. A wall that moves to open up the working space onto a large deck with screens to frame your view of the Huon River. Use of 6mm steel to compliment the celery top timber cladding which is gradually toning into its distinctive pink grey.”

“Tarema Cottage, Howden
Owners: Jill and Emlyn Jones
Project timeframes: February 2014 – July 2016
Jill and I engaged Rebecca in early 2014 to provide a full architectural service on our new build in Howden. Due to the location of the block and existing dwelling, there were a number of constraints from the outset. Rebecca worked closely with us to come up with a concept that was sympathetic to our original coastal cottage. The project was finished in October 2016, with Rebecca having professionally managed the build from concept stage to completion.
There were two aspects of Rebecca’s service that we considered essential to the success of the build:
Creativity and innovation: Our design brief was challenging given the limited space (footprint) for the build, the need to accommodate eldery visitors, and our desire to mix new products and building practices with salvaged materials. The end results has been a light, easy access space that has a superb character that respectfully sits beside our original coastal cottage. Both friends and visitors have commented on the relaxed feel of the building that feels far bigger than it appears from the outside.
Project Management: From the start of the concept stage, through to the completion of the build, Rebecca provided sound guidance on the many decisions that needed to be made. Furthermore, she was able to translate our suggestions and ideas into manageable and compliant designs. All the documentation, compliance with changing building regulations and contract administration and coordination of the builders was handled efficiently and with minimal delays. Perhaps the most challenging aspect was liaising between ourselves as owners and the builders for tasks that we wanted close involvement (e.g. joinery). Rebecca was flexible and agile with the need to change plans as the projects evolved.
In summary, Jill and I were very happy with Rebbecca Fullerton Architect and the outcome of the building produced.”
