“We wanted to add on extra space to the house that we had previously renovated. We met Carlos from Ulloa designs, and as he is an Architect and builder , we were soon into the addition of about 1000 sq ft. The permitting was handled efficiently, as was the execution of all the design requests. There were a few issues with the HOA in our sub-division but that was also managed well by the builder. The final result is an interesting living room space,and a bedroom and bathroom. We would, and have, recommended Carlos to many people. He is helpful, artistic, and efficient. What more could you ask for?!”

“We hired Chrisopher to design a home with an in law suite that would suit not just my family but my extended family. His ability to translate concepts/ideas/preferences/thoughts into a well though out, practical, creative home design goes above and beyond anything we could have anticipated. We are simply awed time and time again by his almost instantaneous grasp of how to redesign a space in a matter of seconds into something even better than what we had envisioned. Simply put, architectual design is in Chris' DNA and it is reflected in the beauty and creativity of the homes and floor plan designs. “We hired O'Brien to help us design our dream home in the country. We met with him (On the build site 170 miles from his office) and described exactly what we wanted...shape, size, floor plan layout. When he came back to us the layout was almost exactly opposite of what we asked for and you know what??? THANK YOU!!! Anyone we worked with could have done exactly what we asked for but Dave knew what we really wanted by listening to us describe our vision of the house. He's been GREAT to work with on making sure that we are happy with the results. We've built four other houses previous to this one and I can tell you he knows not only how to draw plans but also the business. Great ideas on how to save $$$ also. He's the real deal for sure.”

“Complete kitchen and living area remodel as well as master bedroom addition. Ellyn's timeless design helped us gain the full potential of our 50+ year old home. We have storage, open floor plan and flow which were lacking in the original home. Her idea of open shelving in our kitchen is one of my favorite features. Skylights in the master bathroom bring in natural light while maintaining privacy.”

“We hired Design DCA (David Cox) to design our custom home. The reason we chose Design DCA was because we had previously toured one of his homes. The architecture of the home was unique, open, and with a great layout and flow. We actually loved the floor plan so much that we decided to base our design on it with minor changes made. David added a mudroom and kitchen pantry and redesigned the 3rd floor media space. He also designed all the interior elevation and exterior site plan. David was extremely easy to work with. He's professional, courteous, and very responsive. In addition, his fees are reasonable. We would highly recommend Design DCA for your next project.”

“We hired David Benners to help us with a remodel of our old kitchen based on a recommendation of a friend in another city. His attention to details like the upper and lower 'reveal', the unusual shape of the peninsula, including a well designed hidden pantry, giving the cook a zone without interfering with other kitchen activity, emphasizing height that flows out of the living room space,etc. made a huge difference in the result. He also worked well with our contractor. He really listened to my concerns about functionality and turned them into art. He also accepted the constraints like finite amount of money and didn't complain (too much...:-) as well as didn't lose interest because of my 'eclectic' taste in furniture. In the end starting with an architect to give this project initial shape and direction pretty much cured my aversion to remodeling. It wasn't cheap, but the final value was much more than simply $$ spent. We are grateful for his artistic and professional contributions to this job.”
