“We have used Quadrant Design for two projects - a renovation in Prahran (2004/5), and a new house in Barwon Heads(2007/8). Working with Tony and his team was a truly collaborative effort, with complete give and take between architect and client. The attention to detail on both projects was outstanding - nothing was too small to be ignored. Little things made all the difference, such as the 'scalloping' of the window frames at the Barwon Heads house, which greatly enhance the visual appeal of the place. All deadlines were met, both in the design and the build phases & the way Tony interacted with the builders (different ones on the 2 projects) meant we had none of the builder/architect tensions that can so often arise. Both projects came in on time and, importantly, on budget. We were so satisfied that we are about to embark on another house design/building exercise with Tony and the team at Quadrant.”

“We had a delightful experience with Kirsten Johnstone of Eco Edge who provided us with complete designs for our renovated kitchen project. Kirsten made it seem easy to embark on a project that we had somewhat feared before we started. Kirsten clearly comes with a lot of experience and provided professional advice, yet we felt that she listened carefully to our brief and our own ideas too. She knows the industry well and has excellent recommendations for clever solutions, materials, subcontractors, environmentally friendly options and cost cutting strategies. Kirsten communicates extremely well around turn-around-times and kept us informed about how she was travelling against the cost estimates given to us. She didn't stray from the scope of works and delivered on time and within budget. Kirsten appears to approach even smaller projects, such as a kitchen renovation, with enthusiasm. She obviously takes pride in the standard of her own work and appears genuinely interested in her clients' satisfaction. The plans which she produced made it straightforward for us to seek quotes from builders and subcontractors. We are extremely pleased with our kitchen and believe Kirsten was instrumental in the project and the end result. We would warmly recommend Kirsten to anyone about to commence a similar project and we would not hesitate to engage her again should we embark on something like this in the future.”
