Design West is a firm providing architectural and associated consultancy services based in the rural town of Cowra in Western NSW. The company works in areas throughout the Central West with projects in Forbes, Parkes, Young, Eugowra, Molong, Grenfell and Orange, as well as in and around Cowra.
Design West was established in Cowra in 1989 as a small office with an Architect, a Building Designer and a Structural Engineer supported by two Surveyors.
Two years later the Architect, Karen Gay and Designer, George Ferguson decided to branch out and establish an independent business with a network of associated professionals who were consulted as appropriate to each unique Project.
This allowed the freedom to explore the functional, environmental, lifestyle and budget requirements for each of their Clients, drawn from a wide area of Central West NSW.
