“The first time I spoke to Lynnsay I had a good feeling that this was going to work. We had so far tried 6 other architects/ designers for our home, but we never doubted we had chosen right with Lynnsay. She came up with a timeless, beautiful home that took into account all the aspects of our land and the existing pool and our individual needs. She was able to work effectively with our local council. We found Lynnsay to be truly passionate about architecture and always wanting the best for her clients. She listens to feedback and will respond honestly with her thoughts, sometimes making changes, other times standing her ground when she felt we were wrong and always very pleasant to deal with. Lume Projects won the tender to build our home. Marco was organised and meticulous building our home. We were very happy with him. Thanks Lume .”

“I would like to give a huge shout out to Simon and Nat at Architest! My wife and I engaged Architest with some very specific ideas for our dream home and they brought it to life with an incredible design that we both absolutely love. Broadly speaking, we are both novices when it comes to the design and build process. Simon was very patient with us and generous with his time, ultimately providing us with a structure and process that was easy to interpret and follow; we felt very comfortable and confident with their service every step of the way. At the end of our engagement, we were presented with an extensive set of drawings and with their help have now secured a builder and are ready to build! In fact, we were so happy with the servive, we engaged Simon to project manage our entire build and I could not recommend that enough. For example we have had a tough time getting our permit and have had a very tricky experience with our local council. Simon navigated us through a few snags to ensure we had our drawings endorsed and building permit issued. “I photographed the beautiful Hawthorn East, Edwardian, family home renovation and extension late last year in 2020. The front of the house remained in its stunning original state with a fluid transition into a modern, open, spacious dining area, reading nook, lounge and kitchen. There is stunning scale about the back section, it is fresh but warm, homely and inviting through the choice of materials used. The design is modern yet classic in its ability to sit perfectly into the existing older building design. Large glass windows allow for a lot of natural light. The backyard is visible from the hallway and these large windows allow the back garden to become an extension of the liveable space. The little gardens either side of the house are a visually interesting and a thoughtful design addition. These gardens are sectioned with more glass windows, with the reading nook windows being fully retractable. The glass allows for yet more natural light to flood through and a beautiful lush visual of garden beds and tress. Wonderful work Quadrant Design Architects.”
