We were fortunate enough to work with FMD Architects on a project in Richmond and couldn't recommend them highly enough. The attention to detail was excellent and the collaborative approach that Fiona and her staff made for a very smooth build. Very approachable and they were always available if we needed help with an issue on site. The design was fantastic from a building point of view and was both challenging and equally rewarding. We are in the final stages of constructing an extension / renovation project designed by FMD Architects in Clifton Hill. Seven years on and we still experience the thrill of when Fiona designed our renovation. The house reveals itself once you are inside and we love that. Fiona designed the space and rooms to work really hard yet it's concealed in clever design and beautiful joinery. Our terrace was re-imagined through our renovation, the result is a house that transitioned effortlessly from being full of very young children to a house filled with three teenagers and extras. Fiona challenged us with her use of colour and mirror but our trust was well placed. The layers, colour and use of mirror cleverly add a sense of playfulness and drama, and more importantly they add light and volume throughout. Today it's the design elements that stand out. While our early Victorian had good bones, Fiona's reimagining and renovation took it to another level.

FMD provided architectural design and construction supervision of my home renovation. Their design flair, problem solving and attention to detail were exemplary. The company principal, Fiona Dunin, is thorough, professional and a delight to deal with.

I am forever grateful to FMD architects for creating a beautiful home for me to live in. Fiona turned a very old house with no functionality into this wonderful entertainers space filled with natural light and ambience. She listened to all of my requests and provided expert guidance on design and colour choices. Fiona was always available when required and would consult with me with any changes, I was lucky enough to also use FMDs interior design expertise to assist me with selecting furniture which suited my newly renovated home, my taste and my budget. I would highly recommend FMD Architects. I would use them again in a heartbeat. We knocked off the back of our house and replaced it with a new extension. FMD project managed the whole thing. FMD had regular site meetings to keep an eye on what was going on. FMD met with all the trades and dealt with any issues that arose. We didnt have to do a thing. People are very surprised when we say we had no issues and it all came in on time and within budget. We have been told this never happens. Hence why we would use FMD again if/when we do another renovation. FMD made it all so easy. The highlight of our extension is our beautiful pergola - we absolutely love it.

We hired FMD architects to create a unique space that calms people down from the minute they walk into our floatation therapy day spa. The design they came up with used sacred geometry principles and ultimately created a temple of relaxation which was more than we could of ever anticipated. Amazing work from top to finish
