“We engaged Marco Spanu from Aqua Architects to redesign a part of our double-storey home in Killara, NSW, and we are extremely pleased with the results he delivered. From the outset, Marco impressed us with his professionalism and a keen understanding of our needs. He took our initial brief and transformed it into a selection of design ideas that hit the mark perfectly. Once we selected the design we wanted to move forward with, Marco played a critical role in guiding us through the stages of the renovation. He expertly prepared the RFQ pack, organised cost estimates, and helped us make sense of builder quotes. Marco's involvement didn’t stop there: he drafted the necessary package for CDC approval and effectively liaised with structural engineers, certifiers, builders, tradespeople, and suppliers, ensuring that everything proceeded smoothly. His commitment to our project truly went above and beyond our expectations. Though the overall building works are not yet complete, we feel that the process thus far has been incredibly rewarding, thanks largely to Marco's guidance, expertise, and support. “We engaged Turrell to complete our home renovation in 2024. The brief was to turn our run of the mill project home into a modern coastal custom build. We completely transformed our house within 9 months. Every room inside our house was updated and changed and even the exterior was given a completely new look with cladding and stone work. We also added an extension and built a pool house. The project ran very smoothly and was completed ahead of time and under budget. Our site manager Laeton was amazing; he treated our home like it was his own and the attention to detail is outstanding. Unlike previous renovations we have done with other builders we didn't have to micromanage anything. Laeton was there every day organizing everything, we even went away for 3 weeks in the middle and knew it was all in safe hands. All builders and trades that were part of our project were fantastic. Even our neighbors commented on how great they were. Our house now looks amazing with custom cabinetry; timber floors and stone fireplaces. I would have no hesitation on recommending Turrell to anyone looking to renovate or build a new home.”

“Margaret had been highly recommended by a friend and the successful outcome of the renovation and extension project on my 1920s home in Earlwood proves this was well-founded. I'm now enjoying a comfortable and attractive 'new" home. At every stage Margaret's proposals were practical while also taking my needs and wishes into account. She provided clear documentation of her estimated costs from the start and was very supportive when dealing with the inevitable issues with Council. Her colour-scheme recommendation was perfect and saved me a lot of time. My builder was also very impressed with her professionalism.”
