Leanhaus

We engaged Ben earlier this year for our modest build down south. We were after a passivehouse that was actually affordable and, after considering SIPs, we just didn't feel that they were the right fit for our project. Enter Leanhaus. Ben's clever design and building methods eliminate the issues we had with SIPs while retaining all of the good parts about a passive house design and importantly, we could actually afford it! Since engaging Ben, he has absolutely worked his butt off to help us meet key project timeframes, given the craziness in the sector right now following the announcement of the state and federal building grants. His honesty and his direct approach has been super appreciated by us both and to be honest, this was what made us trust Ben from the start. We have felt listened to and we couldn't be happier with our design. We will absolutely be recommending Leanhaus to all of our friends who are undertaking new builds or even additions. Thanks Ben!

Ben took on a demanding brief and a challenging site, and produced a clever, practical design in an efficient and affordable manner, whilst satisfying complex planning criteria and delivering Passivhaus performance. The finished residence is a healthy, comfortable and wonderful place to call home.

We choose to Owner Build the home and Ben assisted us throughout the process.
