“While the owner and general manager at Gransden Construction we had the experience of working with many top flight architects based in both WA and interstate. In my view Suzie and her team are right up there with the best of them. Suzie has the good sense to understand that a project works beat when everyone works collaboratively to achieve the best results. She loves to use high quality products and produces a design that endures, one that cannot be pigeonholed into a particular era or category. We worked on two large projects over these last few years one in Bedfordale and one in Dalkeith. Both homes are stunners but not in a conventional way. It was obvious to me as a builder that our trades and suppliers "lifted their game" when working on these houses, we all enjoyed and relished using the materials and of course the design. We all realized very quickly that we were working on something special. The result? A raft of awards for both architect and builder including HIA WA Home of the Year 2014, Australian Home of the Year 2015 as well as the HIA National People's Choice Award. Suzie went on to win several architectural awards including a finalist in a international award.”

Lurie Concepts understood the brief clearly but also pushed us to ensure we delivered a project that stood out from the crowd. The end result was exactly what we wanted, with the home commended for it's street appeal, space and light. Since completion we have worked closely with Lurie Concepts to extend the thinking that went into the Brabham project to design a range of 6 further homes - all of which challenge the status quo with project building in WA. They've met our brief by thinking outside the square - a rare find.”

“It was a pleasure to work with Michael. He is an excellent listener, a clear communicator and very approachable. His first sketch/design met our first brief. He designed a house that we totally loved, it was interesting and exciting and a lot more than what we expected. The building site he chose on the property mean't that we could have a sustainable house that also captured the views. He has extensive knowledge of a wide range of interesting materials and products as well as samples to show. His relationships with tradesman, professionals (eg engineers, surveyors, planners etc ) and industry bodies ensured a smooth process without major delays or setbacks.”
