Stephen Coon from MLA helped us to transform our dark 1980s brick house in to a beautiful modern light filled home. He took us through the whole renovation process from the design stage to the finished product. He was skilled at transforming our ideas in to reality and coming up with innovative solutions when needed. The project management was excellent so the experience was as stress free as possible. The builders he suggested were excellent with the majority of the building work completed within 6 months, an impressive timeframe considering that we renovated the whole property. We had been wanting to update our outdoor living areas and add covered car parking. We engaged MLA to do some concept sketches and were very impressed with their ideas. The approval phase took some time however as initial plans were rejected by the council. Thanks to the professionalism of MLA this initial hurdle was overcome and our building project was approved, moved on to construction and is now completed. We are very happy with the results. Our home is now much more functional we have extra parking, covered outdoor areas and privacy from the busy road.

We provided Mark and his team with a real challenge - design a modern 4/5 bedroom Hampton's influenced beach house with pool, multiple garaging, 4 bathrooms and large grassed outdoor area all on a 550 m2 block. They did a fabulous job as can be seen from the photos enabling us to enjoy our weekends away in a large, airy and light filled space with magic views across the bay to the Pacific.
