“Mel and Lisa were very responsive and great to work with throughout our Nelson Bay building project. We got the right mix of listening and guidance to deliver a design and floorplan that is striking, maximises rhe potential of the site and is highly functional. Their level of liaison, ideas and solutions shared with both ourselves and the builder throughout the build period also set them apart, as well as the detail inherent in their plans, which the builder told us made their construction task so much easier. “Lauran from LT & Associates created our plans for our 2nd story addition and ground floor alterations. From the first initial meeting with Lauran we knew that we could trust her to provide us with everything we wanted. Lauran took her time to understand what my husband and I were looking for in our house renovation and was more than happy to make changes when requested. Lauran had a great knowledge of BASIX and Council Regulations and we were especially delighted when our DA Approval took only 4 weeks with no issues. I personally found Lauran to be a wonderful adviser who would always answer the phone and on more than one occasion came to my workplace to go over the plans. As far as the outcome is concerned our house with renovation is amazing and we could not be more pleased.”

“Distinct Building Design (DBD) were one of two companies we contacted to design our new home. We selected them on the basis that they fully understood our requirements for a two-storey, 3-bedroom home which left plenty of room for a back garden. They submitted an initial design which, by and large, is the home we ended up with. The other company, for whatever reason, couldn't/wouldn't do this, insisting on 4 bedrooms, with bedrooms on the ground floor and living upstairs. DBD recommended bathroom and kitchen designers as well as suppliers of tiles and all other hardware as the build progressed. They were very pro-active, with the design, during the construction period. The result was a wonderful home that we are extremely pleased with and would be happy to recommend DBD to other prospective users.”
