Drew and his team worked closely with us to understand our needs when renovating our home. Drew sensitively navigated the challenges presented by our narrow terrace block, the conservative zoning and council requirements to design a beautiful open plan family home.

Having worked previously with Drew and the pH+ team, I had no hesitation in engaging them to comprehensively reconfigure and extend our own home on the Northern Beaches. Throughout the process Drew and the team were both passionate and professional, bringing enthusiasm and insight to every stage. We loved their collaborative approach, listening carefully to our brief and communicating different design ideas, as we went on the journey together. Their ability to think creatively in response to both our brief and the site, has resulted in a fantastic design that ‘belongs’ and has far exceeded our expectations! Their knowledge and expertise meant the project obtained DA approval in 6 weeks, and we appointed them right through to completion to ensure the quality of the design, and their attention to detail, was fully delivered. Their collaborative approach extended to working with the builder, and whenever any issues arouse they we’re both proactive and professional. We were thrilled that our completed home was featured in Grand Design’s Australia and Awarded by WAN, but more importantly we’ve thoroughly enjoyed living here for the past 3.5 years since its completion. The quality of design, both in terms of the built form and it’s relationships to the exterior, have stood the test of time and transformed the way we live as a family. After meeting with a number of celebrated architects, we opted for Drew & John from pH+. Their professionalism, passion and obsession with every detail ensured that our brief was being met. Often, even with our high expectations, the team at PH+ identified a number of improvements and ideas to make the home even more dignified, purposeful and intentional from a design and functional perspective. This is most important given we were designing a home for a family of five. Their approach is collaborative and always professional. We also opted for pH+ to manage our build as we trusted them.
