“This is the second project where we have used Kirsten's services. Having moved back to Qld from Melbourne we embarked on building a new home on the Sunshine Coast. After some searching we couldn't find a local architect that resonated with us. We approached Kirsten about taking on a project in Qld and she quickly accepted ! What we love about Kirsten is that her designs are beautiful, thoughtful but completely functional. We are loving living in our new home - its so easy to live in! We are daily in awe of how stunning it is. There are so many beautiful features, including gorgeous timber panelling and little places to take time out. Another benefit that Kirsten brings is the detail in her documentation. This has meant very little variations in our build cost because everything has already been included in the drawings and speficiation used by the builders to prepare quotes. We have absolutely no hesistation in recommending Kirsten and her team.”

“I photographed the beautiful Hawthorn East, Edwardian, family home renovation and extension late last year in 2020. The front of the house remained in its stunning original state with a fluid transition into a modern, open, spacious dining area, reading nook, lounge and kitchen. There is stunning scale about the back section, it is fresh but warm, homely and inviting through the choice of materials used. The design is modern yet classic in its ability to sit perfectly into the existing older building design. Large glass windows allow for a lot of natural light. The backyard is visible from the hallway and these large windows allow the back garden to become an extension of the liveable space. The little gardens either side of the house are a visually interesting and a thoughtful design addition. These gardens are sectioned with more glass windows, with the reading nook windows being fully retractable. The glass allows for yet more natural light to flood through and a beautiful lush visual of garden beds and tress. Wonderful work Quadrant Design Architects.”

“We had a Master class session with Jane. From the outset and initial contact with Jane we found her to be incredibly responsive and personable. She was easy to talk with and was genuine. The masterclass session went for about 2 hours in which Jane went through our house plan and discussed with us some alternate options to our floor plan to help increase our living space. We wanted to extend out current weatherboard house into the back yard to create a open plan kitchen, dinning and living area, plus create a 4th bedroom and also a en-suite bathroom and stand alone bathroom. Through the session Jane was able to advise us of rough estimate costs to do our renovation and also propose potential savings with alternate floor plans. Jane through this session listened to what we wanted and also discussed how best to utilise the space effectively. Jane was also forthcoming with providing us some recommendations on builders in our area and also provided a high level overview of the renovation process from drafting, building, fitting choices etc. Overall I would recommend Jane and her services even if for a masterclass session. Thank you Jane for taking the time to meet with us and also providing some of your thoughts on our renovation of which we will use and hopefully proceed with our extension in the near future.”
