Simon Pendal Architect

We chose Simon Pendal to design our home after reading an article about his Fremantle house in a homes magazine. We liked his clear simple design lines, creative use of materials and ability to work with a limited space. Although we did not proceed with the project, we loved what Simon came up with. He listened to our needs and wants: an environmentally friendly, skinny north-facing modest home for empty-nesters. He solved the problems of a difficult sloping site while keeping within our budget. He also picked up on our love of mid-century style and his architectural features reflected this. Simon carefully studied our street, observing the styles and scale in order to design a building that belonged. He negotiated with our neighbours and secured a good working relationship with our town council. We recommend Simon to prospective home builders.
