THE PRACTICE Sky Architect Studio was established in 2011. Initially operating out of Torquay – where the company works extensively on Residential Architecture projects along the Great Ocean Road – one of the world most scenic coastal routes. The practice builds strong foundation and specialties in modern Architecture style and Beach houses. We love the concept of bringing the outdoor to indoor and connecting spaces for a unified look, this has been our core design practice throughout the years. As the company grow and more demands from Melbourne Metropolitan, Sky Architect Studio’s relocation to Melbourne in 2016 has expanded the practice to extensive opportunities larger scale multi-residential Architecture like Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), Student Accommodation, townhouses, Low-rise Apartment. After repositioned nearer to the city, Sky Architect Studio has been incorporating many of their design principles from contemporary Beach houses and integrates between coastal and urban design, creating many more unique Architecture forms in Melbourne Metropolitan. Our team is dedicated with design passion and hold strong to design principles, quality, sustainability consideration through all Architecture design phases. DESIGN PRINCIPLES Sky Architect Studio operates on the principal that a project that is completed on budget and meeting the specific client requirements does not exclude the ability to achieve broader policy and social goals such as sustainability or universal access. Sky Architect Studio approaches all of our projects armed with the understanding that we have a dual responsibility of meeting the brief for our clients and delivering a project which understands and responds to its wider market conditions, social obligations and the needs of the end users.
