We use standard building materials, but create extraordinary livable spaces & products. Studio MK see's the full project from design to build. We're dedicated to creating crafted projects, and have the team for all customers on any type of project, new, existing or undecided. We work with you in 4 stages: 1. Concept Design We brainstorm and extract info on your space + site + parameters + opportunities + function + budget + phases + time frames + goals. Its a messy process where we see the project evolve and retain the main idea. Here we discard bad ideas, allow THE design idea to evolve, and agree what will be most affordable for you to build. 2. Schematic Design (Planning Permit as required) We refine the brief and concept design and communicate it for you, for council and your neighbors. So that its value is clear to you. Some projects may not need a DA. 3. Developed Design (Tender Cost / Value Management ) This is the technical design step in preparation for building. All drawings & documents which define and explain the final architecture are created. 4. Construction Documentation (Building Permit as required) This is where the construction documents are prepared which will align with your budget. The build phase is where the construction documents go to work.
