We had the pleasure of having Angus Crowe of True North Architects design and manage our build at MacMasters Beach. Angus is a true professional: skilled, succinct, thorough, punctual and, unlike many architects we have dealt with, accommodating. He was able to provide a design and completed build that matched, if not exceeded, our expectations. His approach was one of understanding the design brief and implementing changes commensurate with our objectives. Part of his skill is to offer advice and incorporate changes that are both practical and architectural. We asked Angus to project manage which he did seamlessly and cost efficiently, taking a large amount of added time, effort and stress away from us. Angus is not only a skilled professional but also a bloody good guy! We have no hesitation in recommending Angus to anyone considering a build and would be delighted to be contacted if required.

Angus is a gentle, gracious man who listened to our brief and inspired with his own contributions. We needed a few meetings to reach this equilibrium, but have a light filled, energy efficient, MCM design with great airflow. It sits beautifully on the block and was an extensive renovation. His thorough documentation was appreciated for quotes and the building process. We are so happy to have collaborated with Angus and highly recommend him and his team.

We could not give more praise to Angus and his team at True North Architects. From start to finish the team was dedicated, professional and really listened to what we needed and hoped for. Every time I had a question or idea for the project Angus talked me through why it would (or wouldn't) work, and how these ideas might influence the design. We had interviewed 4 other architects prior to True North and these guys were by far the team who listened the most to our overall style and goals. Angus has a lovely personal style of genuine warmth and connection whilst also being highly intelligent, creative and respectful to the builders and other trades he worked with. I would give these guys 6 stars if i could!
