I have had the privilege of photographing 3 of Ts4’s recent projects.
Their eco friendly approach to architecture, is in my opinion, the way to build for energy efficiency.
The one thing that has shone through in all jobs, is the excellent relationships they have built with their clients, upon completion. I’m guessing some very happy customers.
It is no wonder, as they have the knowledge, skills, ability, personalities, and professionalism to pull off every job, from what I have seen.

I am currently building a farm homestead designed by Brett Aylen from TS4 Architecture,Brett's knowledge and advice during the planning stages has been critical in producing a building that works well with the climate. The building is clad with colourbond, rendered 50mm styrofoam and limestone,it has double glazing, solar heating and electricity and good crossflow ventilation. This building is in the later stages of construction and is already showing signs of being very comfortable to live in,

Design a cellar door with wine tasting area, cafe dining area and outdoor area on a very steep sloping block limited in area by the original house and vines with a limited budget.
We originally had a very small tin tasting shed and didn't want to lose the "shed" intimate feel and wanted the building to feel like it had been there forever. TS4 came up with a fabulous design of an industrial "barn" like tasting area with very high roof where we could utilize huge old beams originally from the old Port Adelaide Wool Stores and other reclaimed building materials - the cafe area would have a more modern feel and a central corten steel designed fireplace linking the two buildings. Large double Jarrah old style front doors along with a wall of jarrah bifold windows and doors were designed to take advantage of the views. As the land is so steep TS4 came up with the idea of three tiered decks with amphitheatre steps leading down to the lawn. The large central fireplace designed by TS4 is stunning and a real wow factor. The end result is a beautiful building that blends perfectly the old that we were trying to create with the new - it has a sense of place that fits in beautifully with the rural landscape and where you feel you sitting are on top of the vines.

Received an estimate
I met with Paul after I purchased a house built in 1955 that had little upgrading done since construction. I was clear about improving the house sympathetically and lowering its energy impact, but I was not clear about which improvements would be right for this house.
Paul gave generously of his time, expertise and wisdom to me. His explanations were clear and I was treated with respect. After my initial free session, I was able to approach the project with more confidence and clarity. Paul followed up with more information specifically for me a week later.
I recently installed the double glazed windows and I am very happy with this recommended product.
I like the principles of the company and Paul's authenticity
I've met my share of sharks doing this house renovation. Salespeople can be very persuasive pushing their interests, not the customer's. This aspect alone ensures TS4 Living is a stand-out company!
