We have been thoroughly pleased working with Yvonne right from the start of the project to completion. We presented Yvonne with a detailed brief and were impressed to receive three different design options that exceeded and enhanced our ideas. We have appreciated Yvonne’s creativity and amazing use of space as we had a tight terrace, and thanks to Yvonne’s clever design and flair we now have a spacious 4-bedroom, 3 bathroom family home. We are thrilled with it, as are our friends that have come over! Yvonne built from scratch the most amazing house for us. On a small block of land she maximize every inch and captured every aspect of the available views. It was admired by real estate agents and was a great asset. A brilliant job.

We did a major renovation with Yvonne in which we virtually gutted the house, and added a new storey. Her design suited our family situation at the time and going forward perfectly. There were lots of little extras, clever additions in small spaces. It was also wonderful to have Yvonne there throughout the renovation, constantly refining the design and dealing with the builder on our behalf. Also helping me with the interiors. She's a great communicator, trustworthy and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Can't recommend her highly enough.

Yvonne has been a key part of making our dream home. Starting with the ground floor renovation and following on with rebuilding of the second storey, Yvonne’s vision and attention to detail ensured a trouble free, seamless and cost effective result. Yvonne was recommended to us by friends who had used her services, and their glowing recommendations were well-earned. We hired her as architect and project manager for an almost total renovation of our two-story apartment at Bondi Beach. (Only the bathrooms, which had been recently renovated, did not require any work.) Yvonne's design ideas were exemplary - as beautiful as our friends' designs but quite different from theirs. She overcame some tricky hurdles with attractively creative solutions that made us grateful that these quirky parts were here. For example, part of a large, but shallow wall of cupboards invisibly surrounded a wide nib in the wall, providing us with a perfect place for spices, medications and other small items. This entire cupboard unit utilised an otherwise unusable space and provided excellent pantry and glass cupboards with no need to go searching behind to find items. A large double window threatened to interrupt the continuity between the kitchen and lounge areas of the open plan living area. Yvonne extended the lovely open box shelving from either side to draw the elements together in a truly artistic way. Yvonne is known as "the queen of storage" and this is for good reason. She created very useful storage areas in so many unimaginable places. Yvonne managed the various tradespeople well, pulling everything together and keeping the project rolling. Her manner was very pleasant and friendly and her leadership skills kept her on top of everything.

Being clients of Yvonne’s was a wonderful experience. Yvonne was always the consummate professional. She listened to our wants and responded with a thoughtful design. She provided sound advice, guidance and direction that was always appropriate. Yvonne’s design just works. Our home is open, and flooded with natural light thanks to a clever design. Yvonne created very beautiful spaces and an amazing amount of storage. Yvonne not only designed our home, obtained planning approval and managed the tendering process, she also project managed the build for us. Throughout the year long construction stage of the project Yvonne worked with the builder and resolved all issues and made the entire project as stress free as I suspect it can be. I would highly recommend Yvonne and would welcome the opportunity to work with her again, however I suspect we will never want to leave this house. L&D

Yvonne provided frank but professional advice on my dump of a house. She provided a vision that was appealing and do-able. She project managed the whole job, managed the builder, and produced a result which I could never have dreamed would be possible. It was a pleasure dealing with her.

Just completing with Yvonne Haber my 5th project, which is a complete renovation of a small cottage in Balmain. Her design was simply brilliant, completely transforming a dingy little workman's cottage into a light filled modern space with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, vaulted ceilings, and first rate fitout throughout. Yvonne has been there from the start, dealing with a very difficult council, then in the Land and Environment court and on site as required. We had to stand up to Leichhardt Council on this one (and the last one too actually) - think of her as a polite, highly knowledgable terrier. She is thoroughly across every aspect of her brief and was able to respond to all of the exigencies of council in a timely manner and was reasonable with costs. I am over the moon with the way the house turned out. As I stated to her the other day - you can't always tell from the plans, but seeing it in the flesh, it is much better than I imagined. I would not use another architect.
