“Sonja has just hung a fabulous large piece of art in our bedroom. Redecorating our bedroom was a fun process. The hard part was finding a work of art to hang over the fireplace. I came upon Sonja Robar and her art at an artists' market and loved the uniqueness of her pieces. I wanted one but I wasn't sure which as I was overwhelmed by the choices that I loved. And so an artistic design collaboration started between Sonja, Chris and me. Sonia's artistic eye for design, scale and colour helped us. She presented us with a selection of pieces that as a designer she felt would complement our room and our tastes. What a hard decision to choose just one. After a visit to view her collection we decided on Barwon Heads and on aluminium. Sonja custom sized it for our bedroom. Wow, our unique one of a kind piece. It is so unusual and the sheen from the aluminium gives it a lightness when looking from the side. It is a photo and a moody ever changing piece of art that reflects the light of the day.
