Castle Hill, New South Wales Artists & Artisans
As an artist I am constantly experimenting and looking for new ideas, by exploring the versatility of materials, subject matter and style to engage a variety of audiences. I am an artist that loves blending and merging colours‚ from the more detailed fantasy trees series through to my more recent semi abstract free flowing landscapes. While I am not a devotee of traditional landscape, these new works are from an aerial perspective using drone photography and google earth where I can zoom down exploring and capturing light and dark spaces, fractured shapes, airy patterns, juxtaposed with unexpected textural elements, makes my work suggestive and in a unique way drifts between realism and abstraction. I have developed my own style that reinterprets natural landscapes by using a mixture of brushstrokes with the interplay and unpredictability of colourful paints and inks being poured across the canvas. The overriding power of my work is colour and pattern, it can be subtle, bold, restful or sassy. It can evoke a memory, a mood or feeling that can affect a sense of wellbeing or discomfort all combined to depict another version of our planet.
Ralph Kerle's Art is a series of original signed limited edition prints that capture a moment in time when nature coalesces into visual abstraction on the surface of the water. The images are not photo-shopped or artificially created. They are images that nature has created and exist in reality. They are designed as peaceful meditiations on the way we engage with pur lived environments.
Fleur Stevenson is an abstract artist, whose work is inspired by the patterns, textures and shapes found among the urban surroundings of Sydney’s Inner West. Working with mixed media (acrylic and spray paint) on canvas and board, Fleur’s paintings explore the negative spaces between (permanent and temporary) objects and invite the viewer to discover and navigate through these seemingly empty spaces.

Purchase Luxury framed prints from local artists primarily from the Central Coast or upload your own photos and transform them into personal works of art. Each framed print is hand-crafted in our studio using museum grade photographic papers, genuine archival inks, locally produced moulding and premium mats. Our framed prints are produced using archival inks which are designed to last 75 years without fading or loss of colour. As long as you don't place your print outdoors where it will be subjected to high humidity, extreme temperatures, and/or direct rain, your print will last a lifetime! Amante Photography’s expert staff cut and assemble each framed print by hand. Our moulding (the wooden outer edge), comes from a local boutique moulding company that have been running their small family business for almost 30 years. Their moulding is 100% Australian made and is cut using one solid piece of wood. Many framers obtain the majority of their moulding from Indonesia, which is environmentally unsound. This inferior moulding is covered by a hard resin which is designed to hide the underlying blemishes and imperfections and can chip and smudge easily. Amante’s moulding, in comparison, allows all the natural wooden grains to come through to the surface and are painted or stained. We support local industries wherever possible, purchasing our quality acrylic locally. There is often a misconception that acrylics are inferior to glass, but there have been great improvements in the quality of acrylics in recent years. Acrylic, (as opposed to glass), allows the frame to breathe, which means less build up of mildew over time. There is also less of a colour cast compared to glass, and you are less likely to damage the art work if accidentally dropped. Museum grade, non-reflective acrylic is available here at Amante Photography on request.

My art business specializes in original paintings in oils and acrylics of the Australian landscape as well as other works including modern contemporary. Our main focus is on paintings of the Australian landscape in a a style known as contemporary realism. The painting will be composed on sketches and photos of places we've visited in Australia and abroad which is then painted on canvas or linen using vibrant colours. We give importance to the quality of the work and hence we want to be in control of the whole process of painting starting from canvas stretching to framing. The oil painting technique and materials that we use are the traditional ones and hence have been tested over time. In this way we ensure and guarantee quality and durability.
