“When Lionel started experimenting with fabric on the walls, I know he searched everywhere for local suppliers of both information and supplies for wall upholstery. After much searching and investigation, he decided that the most cost-effective method was to apply fabrics using the age-old starch method. Although that too was problematic as the internet by and large is not reliable with crucial information. I watched him experiment with various methods and formulas until he came up with his own applications. He has done three projects for me and I am really happy with the results and the longevity of the fabric on the walls. The kitchen was done a year ago, as well as the guest toilet and it has held up beautifully. When deciding to do the hallway and passage, we chose a more expensive fabric and thicker weave, and I am really really pleased.”
