About Us

Gabrielle Jones is a professional painter who lives and works in Sydney and the Blue Mountains. Gabrielle is Creative Director of Art Class Sydney -operating weekly painting classes for adults during school terms in Birchgrove; and Bali Art Retreats, week long workshops in Bali. Her paintings are recognisable for their beautiful use of colour, gestural mark-making and sense of movement, and evidence her skill and mastery of the medium in her painting technique.

I have recently commissioned Gabrielle to provide several artworks for a public hospital project and she has been a delight to work with. Gabrielle was very professional, worked to a brief, completed the works before deadline and provide great progress photographs and supporting material. I needed a fairly large painting in yellow tones to decorate my lounge room. I found what I was looking for in one of Gabrielle's oil painting. The composition and tones of the painting matched perfectly the look I wanted to create. The size of her artwork was also perfectly fitted to the size of the wall and the overly look and feel of the room. I am verry happy with the result.
